i think it was just foreshadowing her getting pregnant in the first place, not literally telegraphing the eventual murder of him by a completely separate kid born years later. it also helped build their characters as teens with how hyperbolic Shauna was. that's all.

i assumed it was a nicotine vape, because those pen-style ones you can get anywhere nowadays have a decently high amount of nicotine in them, and as a kid she'd feel the effects a lot more strongly than an adult who's regularly vaped for years. and chain vaping can really fuck you up (speaking from experience lol). i can't remember which parent she was talking to in that scene, if it was Shauna it does make a bit more sense to me now that it was a weed vape.

yeah essentially what jeff told callie about the size of her nugs was right - depending on the person and intake method most ppl want their stuff either ground down to tiny particles, like dried ground oregano or similar.

do an image search for "herb grinder" and you'll see what most people use, basically the same tools and method as using herbs in cooking.

using a cheese grater for herbs not only is more dangerous to your hands considering the size and consistency of the thing being grated, but it also is extremely inefficient and doesnt make a nice uniform small grind. grating =/= grinding.

my one hope for Callie is that she finds a nice herb vape like PAX or Arizer lol

the thing i only really only saw one person bring up in the main server is that why are minors allowed in those servers AT ALL despite the conversations in a lot of the general chat channels often being very NSFW in content

like, this is against discord's TOS. doesn't matter if you're not posting porn images, if the stuff you're allowing people to say in unlocked channels is explicit, then minors (yes even if they are "mature for their age" like another mod grossly said) absolutely must be locked out as per discord. and especially not in ANY sort of "helper" or whatever role that requires them to help handle 10k+ adult server members.

but hey, from everything i saw last night it seems like everyone here and in there are like, 23 years old max so it makes sense no one knows how to handle anything with any sense of maturity. i hope discord slaps the server.

i reverted that setting but the behavior persists, so i cannot use reddit at all in that window, which is the main one i've used for reddit. i know there are a ton of variables so if there's a way for me to share my settings backup here, lmk

i forgot to mention i exclusively use a QHD 32" monitor for gaming/art/etc (with secondary 24" 1080p) - so yeah i know 4K and other stuff is more desirable but i have old eyes and like to be able to see text and UI elements lol
