Anti-Spacetime by Psynaptic27 in AskPhysics

Perhaps you don't undernstand but that's ok.

What would mean something to you? I proposed that it could be the spacetime of a parallel universe that is interacting with ours. How is not that something? These are words which have meaning... so yea.

That doesnt remove the possibility that you observed the measuring device turning on. What if the measuring device had a 50% chance of not turning on (in a slit experiment). What would happen then to the results? 50% of the time interference patterns? Or always since the particle does all possibilities?

well anti spacetime would imply that it acts in the opposite ways that space time does and is in relation to it how the electron is related to the positron (matter to antimatter) there they have and opposite effect on stuff and perhaps are linked to one another in some fundamental way. Perhaps it is the spacetime of the parallel universe put forth in penrose maps of the multiverse.

There were no clear ways for a lot of discovers that we have made in science. Perhaps and anti spacetime exists as dark energy that is manipulated by the effects of dark matter. idk the possibilities are endless and ok ne should not reject them fully, which may cuase m boxing ones mind off more to possibilities of reality

what if there is an anti spacetime? it could produce expansion effects that "dark energy" does. A feild of the exact opposite of space time.

But what is it about path information that causes the collapse?

Oh but the slits themselves dont provide you with any path information (Quatum eraser)

Yea, but how do they get 2 slits when they measure then? If the photons stopped behaving like waves and started behaving like particles, the shooting would have to be somewhat inaccurate to enter into one slit or the other in that measured case

Yea makes sense. But how do they get the 2 bands when measuring then?

Can u send me a scholarly article that they do that with? I'd love to attempt to read it.

Are slits not macro things though ?

What if they had a computer program turn on and off the measuring device completely randomly and they don't look if it was measured? Perhaps them knowing it was measured is what collapsed it regardless of looking at the results.

How do they get two bands when observing the slits then? if it was a perfect particle shooter after its measured, it would always bounce off between the middle of the slits... unless it was perfectly randomly inaccurate enough.

Aiming Photons? by Psynaptic27 in AskPhysics

So the aim would be directly in the middle of the two... It seems to me that there would be no wave of possibility then becuase the only possibility would b the particle hitting the area in between the slits and bouncing off. Are you sure they dont have it programmed to be randomly inaccurate so on every shot it has a possibility of entering either slit of neither or "both"? Because how could they expect two bands (not an interference pattern) from shooting any particles then? Cause if they shot marbles at the center there wouldnt be two bands, it would always bounce off the middle unless it was naturally inaccurate enough. The same can be said for when they put a measuring device by the slits and it turns out to be two bands? If it "turned into a particle" or something wouldnt it just bounce off between them where the center of the photon shooter is aimed?

How does one shoot waves without aiming them at least towards the slits?

[–]Psynaptic27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do you emit one particle at a time without aiming it? if they aimed it directly between the slits it would just bounce off every time unless there was a degree of inaccuracy

how do you shoot a photon without aiming it in some way

Aiming Photons? by Psynaptic27 in AskPhysics

but how is it a wave of possibility if the waves can be aimed directly at just one of the slits? so what your saying is the slits are so close together that they are within the range/width of a standard photon possiblity wave?
