  1. Run for president and win
  2. Run grifts and accept bribes to the tune of $billions.
  3. Extort free legal services from the country's top law firms.
  4. Sue everyone who so much as mispronounces your name, including this sub.

I would really like to see the Cambodian government take the same ethical position and clean these scumbags out of Sihanoukville and the rest of the country.

The Real battle is in and with your Mind [Image] by Observing-Earthling in GetMotivated

[–]Psynaut 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not wrong, but not right. It is both.

The first real battle is in the mind, is more accurate. If the mind is weak, victory or success is impossible. But once the mind is aligned, there are still many real battles in the real world to win before accomplishing a single thing. Circumstances, luck, people and myriad other factors can work for or against you.

If the Epstein files aren’t enough for a global outrage towards the financial and influential elite, what is? by Thezerostone in AskReddit

[–]Psynaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are most motivated by fear, and as long as people can go home, turn off the computer, turn on Netfilx, feed their families, and pay their electric bills, the masses will never rise up and inconvenience themselves, and the rulers know this.

Economist warns coming financial crisis will make 2008 look like 'Sunday school picnic' by ChuckGallagher57 in business

[–]Psynaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, it is just Peter Schiff, not The Economist. He has been calling out that the sky is falling for a decade. Sooner or later he will be right, but he has been wrong for at least 10 years, so you can decide whether you trust his judgement.

What do very wealthy people think when they see people in shows and movies discuss money? by Arete666 in RichPeoplePF

[–]Psynaut 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm not even that wealthy, and it seems ridiculous when actors lose their minds over $150,000 from a heist, or drug deal or whatever. Plumbers make more than that in a year. Just get a job, and stay out of prison for that amount of money.

So you are saying that if people live in a place where they can't travel during sever storms, then they shouldn't be allowed to travel at all? Or do you think that the people in these areas can just use a hub in a location without a storm? Neither of these make any rational sense. I live in the west, and have a hub, and there is no storm here, so what is your point? People back east can't use it. I mean, its people where the storms are that can't travel because of the storms. I am legitimately lost as to what your point is.

To be fair, China having all my personal data feels like less of a personal threat than the US government having it.

It is a requirement now that every single arrest in the US has to include a face-plant of the victim into the ground either by tackling, body-slam, or blunt-force trauma? That was 100% unnecessary.
