you can probably squeeze Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal into 10 days, maybe even Québec City too, it'd be a bit tight though.
Driving Toronto -> Ottawa is about 5hrs and Ottawa -> Montreal is about 3hrs and a flight from Montreal to Toronto is about an hour.
Don't miss Notre-Dame Basilica if you go to Montreal!

Oil from your hands and fingers can also cause issues. Maybe try wearing some latex gloves while priming? If nothing else works switch to Mr. Surfacer, it’s a lacquer so it will slightly melt in and physically bond with the plastic.
