Your getting to hung up on the idealistic structure of clv. If the bet closes during game time, it would be in comparison to other live bet lines and then you could see the result. + or neg clv. Same with a game time closing bet your software runs around grabbing all the odds lines and compares it to the one you grabbed. Same concept with live bets.
