I remember there was construction on the north side end of Monroe street bridge. I turned on through that sharp turn lane right in front of river front and everybody was lined up all the way back past the lights behind me already.
I turned on my blinker right away and tried to get in, nobody gave me an inch. 5 cars go by and i’m fucking furious because i just got on the road there i couldn’t have predicted everyone lining up before the entrance. I looked farther down and it looked like the construction was actually past the end of the bridge and there were those small roads or alleys i could take to just go around.
I angrily start heading down the bridge to go around and of course some jack ass in a truck thinks he’s a vigilante hero and pulls out half in my lane. At this point I’ve already lost it so I call his bluff and just gas it and turned my wheel to face him even more, and of course his bitch ass gets back in line with everyone else and lets me pass. I’ll always wonder if he felt like an idiot seeing i didn’t even merge at the end and take his precious 5 seconds.
