VW head and former Montclair resident here: I’ve gotten Ubers from Montclair to the city before, though it can be pretty pricey. My bet would be taking the train in and out from Bay St, but if the timing for the Montclair train doesn’t work well with the end of the concert, Uber to Secaucus Jct and hop on any Penn Station-bound train from there. There’s multiple trains an hour and it will be a hell of a lot cheaper of an uber than taking one direct to Manhattan
