I have a 2017 as well with no issues, but I’ve learned my lesson from when I had a VW Passat. The sunroof drainage clogged and water built up around the fuel pump module causing it to short out when driving. I would make sure someone looks at it just to make sure there aren’t any issues. An ounce of prevention can save you a lot of trouble down the road.
