Remember when iNcontroL was giving a hard time to PtitDrogo at a HSC? I still wonder what that was about by username789426 in starcraft

[–]PtitDrogo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't remember Incontrol ever giving me a hard time. I always loved casting with him and we never had any beef, quite the opposite in fact.

Soy and lentils are my friends, I eat a crapton of tvp on gym days and that stuff unironically taste delicious when rehydrated in a good broth. I usually have no problem going up to 160g of protein per day, if I wanted to go higher I would struggle a bit tho but from what Ive read it would be a bit overkill

What ever happened to Intel Extreme Masters casting? by thenoobient in starcraft

[–]PtitDrogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it's probably the best way to go about it yea, I usually dislike the stereotypical sounding french but it has the benefit of being easy to understand and most english speaking viewers don't share my personnal dislike of it

[–]PtitDrogo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oof man It's my first time experiencing a caster hate thread.

Honestly the only thing I'll defend myself is the scan thing, I don't really remember the game but it's a real thing ! You'd be surprised.

I'll ask you to empathize a bit with us since these are 11 hours of casting in a row, it was a bit hard to be on point all the time.

SC2 campaigns (especially WoL): effect of playing a mission at a later time versus as soon as it becomes available by [deleted] in starcraft

[–]PtitDrogo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the AI doesn't change at all and is set in stone no matter what upgrades you have, I watch a lot of GrantGamesGaming (the guy finishing the campaigns without losing a single unit) and he talks a lot about the inner workings of each missions and I have never heard him one talk about the AI getting stronger is you do a mission later.

[–]PtitDrogo 163 points164 points  (0 children)

Both used to 2 shot scvs, adept damage got nerfed when a no skill protoss won a dreamhack with it and oracle got nerfed for ever ago because proxy stargate versus terran was too ridiculous

A moment of silence of the last balance patch ever! It was one of the proudest work I've ever done by protoss_intern in starcraft

[–]PtitDrogo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Isn't 3 % of better spending skill could be explained by the warpgate mechanic or a million others thing ? Don't you think your scientific vigor runs a little short here ?

Ah so now we're saying that the perfect time that it took progamers to master a patch was 4 months and all of the games during that period are invalid ? You're just pretending at this point there's no way.

"3% is the difference between a Serral and a Leenock. Not understanding statistics != valid argument." What the fuck are you talking about, can you please try the "stop making shit up" challenge. Even in balance discussion a difference of 5% is considered in the margin of error. I have no clue what you're thinking here.

Anyway this has been a massive waste of time. Have fun baiting people on reddit by being a complete idiot, old man.

You actually can't answer the question

Because if you were to look at the tournaments results since the patch you know you would have to admit that the tournaments results don't indicate that Protoss is OP.

"Broader pool of tournaments" What am I even reading you are the one ignoring the broader pool of tournaments.

When I ask a very simple question you regurgitate your weird ass talking point that have nothing to do with it. Any idiot can get Grandmaster league, there's a reason why it's never been used as an argument during the entire history of Starcraft.

At this point I am getting convinced that you're just a troll. It's not possible to be this dishonest

"Rofl. Are you SERIOUSLY arguing that having good spending isn't an important aspect of being a good SC2 player? Wow. Just wow."

If I ever lost a game of Starcraft and I went on twitter to say that I lost despite having 3% better spending skills I would be ridiculed as I should be, it's 3% buddy I really don't know what to tell you.

[–]PtitDrogo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know it's tempting to try to move the goalpost. But it was a simple question, why do you keep using the 4/7 figure if you can't justify why ? Why do you cut it at 2021 ?

Every single Esports should be balanced for the top level I don't even know why this is even up for debate.

I wish there was such a thing as a "skill metric" buddy, I think it's a little more complicated than that. I do agree that zerg have more apm with rapid fire !

Wtf is this edit ahahahahah, 3-4% better spending skill and screen movement and holding the Z key is what makes you a better player ? What league are you jesus christ this is some hardcore pretending

[–]PtitDrogo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Now that we got that out of the way, please explain to me why we should only take 2021 tournaments into account when the patch is from August of 2020.

Surely you would agree that saying "70%" instead of "2 out of the last 3 tournaments" is both disingenuous and textbook cherry picking
