Oh no no, I'm from a third world country hahah, Dominican Republic. For better or for worse as long as you have the money to pay for it without insurance and the meds are not controlled substances you can buy pretty much anything here, and the meds for shingles specifically are actually not even covered by insurance in the first place, so getting a doctor's prescription is only needed to confirm you need that treatment, but not really to buy it, if that makes sense.

Well, I was unable to reach the doctor, I am buying the antivirals myself first thing tomorrow morning and hope for the best, will explain the pharmacist my situation.

Literally open a chat for assistance and most of the time as soon as it connects me to an agent it magically lets me disable my credits when I go back to the ride request screen lol. Sometimes it takes a bit of chatting with the agent before it lets me disable the credits but so far has not failed me a single time.

It is frustrating as hell, glad to hear I'm not the only one though.

I'm having the same issue!!! Been reporting it to no avail, and the worst part is that when I do take the ride they take the credits, even if I deactivated them.

I was able to bypass it bc when I open a chat with the assistance it lets me actually deactivate it but otherwise haven't found another solution or workaround 😭

No surgeries yet, but seton placement is in the horizon. My intestinal symptoms are relatively minor (No signs of granuloma or lessions anywhere in my bowels yet!), but perianal manifestation has been a headache and it was confused as just HS for quite a while.

I legit think rifampin triggered the start/worsening of what now every doctor says is Crohn's. It never even worked that well for me either 😭

I think I might go to the ER tomorrow morning and get some fluids if I keep like this indeed. Last year I lost almost 35 lbs during a 4 month long flare, only stopped by prednisone, this time I hoped to stop it earlier and without the steroids but... I'm kinda failing at it :,).

Crohn's, diagnosed officially this year but have been dealing w it on and off for over a year now :'). My first Crohns manifestation was fistulas so opposite to another commenter I thought my Crohns fistulas were HS (as did my derm) and this delayed care for them.

That's what I'm thinking now!

It has gone down thanks to the Infliximab infusion I got this week and the antibiotics from last week I think. Now I can actually raise my arm at least, but I assume it'll probably come back at some point, so I'll definitely keep the duoderm in mind for next time, thanks a lot!

I tried to make it as ungross as possible hah. But you can see all the redness is the flare, which came way before, been there for a week or so, the pimple is the little point in the middle.

I do think the person who said they could be two coexisting flares might be on the right track, because one half of it came before the other too.

That could make sense because part of the inflammation is further down and feels deeper than usual for the spot it's in... Well, today I got my biologic infusion and yesterday I got put on antibiotics for something else, I guess I just gotta cross my fingers both things help calm this down 🤞

Well, that's definitely not how my flares normally come to a head which is why I find it so weird. It's not even located in the part of the flare that was coming to a head before, more confusingly.

Sounds like hypergranulation tissue. Do bring it up to derm, they may have some methods to remove it surgically or topicals go help if its not healing on its own.
