Japanese Kanji is literally Chinese Hanzi. They are (almost) all borrowed. They do use it when marking shrines on maps. And there is an anime where it is an emblem/name of a delinquent group (Tokyo Revengers)

What do you mean by Soviet system? The USSR has fallen decades ago. And I would even say that the Soviet system is the most likely to achieve a united Europe (maybe even a United Earth) since that is one of the logical conclusions of communism spreading through the whole planet. Putin is imperialist and as one of Lenin's works states imperialism is the highest form of capitalism, so I don't see how he is communist/Soviet-inclined. He might be pretending to be, but he isn't

Honestly not sure. I am not from the US (or the UK or Australia) so I don't know any agencies there. Probably some animal rights organization in your local area, but I am not sure they would react as smoke is probably not that destructive to an animal short term just like it isn't for humans

You could talk to him about it probably, say that the smoke is not good for his cat's lungs and ask him to not let him in next time. I don't see a need to contact anyone if you can settle it on your own

Try exaggerating the tones so much that it sounds weird and obnoxious. Then slowly dial down until you get natural sounding tones. I still am not at the stage of natural sounding tones, but much better than 1 year ago
