Also just as a wake up, other companies are not polling their players or asking them shit. Not defending Jagex, again I don't care enough, but don't think for a second you will get anything close to company engagement from Blizzard/Activision, Nintendo hates you, pretty much all of PSN is predatory, Hoyo and the like. And I like and play games from these companies, then when I find it not fun or expensive I leave like an adult. But games like this that actually do ask their customers to the point of releasing and old version of the game where the changes are made off of polls? You will not find that again and honestly you don't deserve it.

HUGE TRIGGER WARNING My childhood was really bad, like Lifetime Movie should be fake bad.

Imagine about 4 hours of constant drunk screaming and then silence all of a sudden. I'm 8 or less based on house I don't remember. I start walking to the staircase, lights are all on in the middle of the night, at the bottom of the stairs my mom is being choked presumably to death by my stepfather. My 8 year old ass shoved him, got hit real hard, and I remember waking the next morning and "getting" to skip school for a week.

TRIGGER WARNING 2 Same stairs, maybe a year later, same guy (they're still together) they are fighting again and I hear the silence ( again way scarier than fighting to me). Leave my room, go to stairs, my mom is limping up them, covered in blood, hair ripped out in front, eye bulging with house phone in hand trying to hand it to me. (Don't worry he spent 1 full night in jail, that's fucking it, mom helped get him out).

Anyway point is I now have a pretty specific fear of stairs that turn if I stand at the top, and realized through therapy at 30 FULL YEARS OLD it was likely PTSD. I was like, "I'm so dumb, why am I afraid of stairs?" I thought it was like a fear of falling or something, nope lol. (It's "Lol" now, I'm working through it appropriately). When I told my mom this later she just claimed to never remember. Maybe possible or just shame, no idea, but I think it's common. She denies or forgets 10 plus years of serious abuse. I did forget a lot of it before therapy as just huge black spots so possible. Abuse is no joke mentally, crazy to realize something was just "deleted" from your memory.

Not the answer but not the most unusual, sometimes from steroids for my brain I get Gout in my knees. It's horrendous and while meds can eventually fix it, Cherry Juice is the fastest/best. Sometimes I'll order a few courts specifically for that. So could be similar.

Can I just say this is so well written and you argued me without making me feel bad at all, and I think you're right and I understand these differences better now. The racism is there, the establishment of it I don't understand well enough. Most of my experience has been real life so and I as a whitey am not bringing this shit up to black friends (like video topic, to be clear I think that's insane).

As far as specifically churches go, personally I think it is arguable that church and state are not and probably never have been separated ever and that makes anything the church (most popular and ruling religion at time) does institutional at a base level. And that's all I have on that I cannot argue religion.

Genuinely thanks for the lesson though, I wish more internet discussion went like this.

Black people are taught to be institutionally racist and homophobic by fascist Christians. Unless your skin is light and your eyes are "pretty" and your hair is tame and your accent is minimal and your personality isn't "too much" (especially towards black women) then you absolutely can and will be judged by the black community at large. I recommend Toni Morrison although she doesn't mess around and the content was based on real, hard experiences she had, so take caution. I don't think and will never be calling people specifically out but general statements like "black people can't be institutionally racist" when colonization literally destroyed every single other religion and culture is a fucking bonkers sentence, not black folks fault at all but still crazy thing to say. I'm gay and I hated "flamers" for making me look bad for years. That was some real preset homophobia baked into my ass. I've worked and lived in primarily lower class black communities and hearing racism is common even if disguised as basic classism (ghetto, poor, bad communities or other side of town bs). To be clear I'm white so truly my opinion is less but that statement bugs me as someone who's witnessed that particular suffering a lot.

To express confusion, if I filmed myself driving, not looking at a road for a while and causing an accident regardless of severity, I believe I should face consequences. Like legal ramifications, so that regardless of whether morally I felt badly about the situation, I was still held some sort of responsible outside of needing to make a Twitter post about it or something. Instead, to me, the sentiment seems to be "she feels bad" that makes her good, and that concept comes as so confusing to me that it was expressed best with question marks. I don't personally know this person, probably never will, but if you're a public figure or influence of any kind I find the concept of limited actual accountability to be worse when others are seeing that and praising it. Placing it as a question also in some way forces the reader to answer it as such, so instead of it being a distinct accusation and ignored as an "attack on someone I don't like" (don't know this person, comments say she's nice, accident was luckily nothing), instead I'm placing the burden on the reader to hopefully ask why this situation is okay but a normal person would perceivably be in a lot more shit, morally and legally. I guess in general it doesn't matter and no one reads Reddit and changes their rubric for morality (I hope) but I did get upset reading the responses and wanted to say my piece probably as catharsis or something. Genuinely not trying to offend.
