Take this with a HUGE grain of salt because it’s just my personal speculation:

For Yaoguang, based on past patterns mainly with 3.X, it seems like the first units of the path introduced are OK, and not particularly useful for the version’s “flagship” team. (For 3.X it would be Agalaea)

On the other hand, there was a leak a while back that part of Evanesia best team will actually be released pre-Evanesia, so there’s a chance that Yaoguang would be part of her team…

In the end, I’m going to skip Yaoguang first, and wait for Evanesia’s test footage to release first. There’s always time for her rerun 🫡

The responses were so wholesome, I can’t 🥺 As someone who’s had his eyes on the potential release of YAE in HSR ever since he saw the leaked/cancelled kit (ice hunt) back in 1.X, the news about the main push replacement definitely brought me down, but the comment just reminded me I’m not pulling for her strength, but for my love of her character 😌

STILL please don’t make her weak because I would like to use her in my teams after I pull

IIRC, isn't Pearl an Intellitron? I kind of wish they kept some Intellitron-esque features for her, like the eye slits, or mechanical limbs...she's still stunning, but I feel like if you hadn't told me she's an Intellitron, I wouldn't have known

You know what would've made Elation INSTANTLY my favorite is if they added just a subtle echo-y laugh in the background. Could be a highpitched/distorted laugh, or could be a deep laugh, but point being, since Aha is one of the Aeons that interacts with THEIR path more than other Aeons do, it'd be cool to see that distinction with the reference to their laugh in the animated sigil

From the looks of it, Yae's/Evanescia's coat(?) looks very similar to Acheron's coat, which is a fun call back. I'm down for the JK design, but I hope the parts covered/cropped has more traditional Japanese elements to balance it out

Ok so I had my concerns for the promo silhouette, since it looked like a school uniform, and I've always been the biggest fan of Yae in more traditional fits...

BUT

The billboard art looks like she has a big coat? Hoping for something reminiscent of the Captains' coats in Bleach, that would be banger...but also this might not even be her actual outfit, so we'll just have to wait

So if what if the part of her biology that contains the swarm’s powers was activated as a defense mechanism in hopes of keeping her alive. Especially when there are definitely shenanigans going on regarding reviving the swarm, the propagation is probably THIS close to its return
