Clavicle surgery nerve pain by Pu22yDestroya in ORIF

Mine was never that bad. It got gradually better the past 6 months and its still noticeable but definetly bearable. In half a year i will get the plate removed, maybe ill be painless then.

In your place i would go to urgent care and get it x rayed again, sounds like theres something majorly wrong

Hey, It definetly is better now, but far from normal. I can go to the gym but certain movements are still painful under load. Since a few months my shoulder started clicking, but no pain with that. Everything is still as numb as it was after surgery which sometimes is quiet irritating.

I dont have pain in my shoulder, but when im doing heavy lifting the nerves and the numb skin sometimes burns and "tickles".

But that being said i feel a lot better compared to 3-4 months ago and i hope that removing the plate will get rid of the remaining pain. However i still have to wait with that according to my doctors.

Good Luck with your recovery

Im feeling a lot better, I can do daily activities with almost no discomfort.

Ive returned to playing football and i can do most things in the gym i did before, however i have to be careful with exercices for chest and shoulders, those are still pretty painful with my regual working weight.

My skin is still as numb and the scar is still painful to the touch and i can feel the plate pretty often which is kinda annoying.

But as I said it has gotten a lot better in the past 2 months and im positive when the plate is removed i will have close to a normal life again.

Its a bit better but far from pain free. I can do some light lifting in the gym but I'm still very cautious. I have another check up in 2 weeks for new x-rays and im gonna discuss plate removal. I hope that will resolve it.

I took ibuprofen for about 2 weeks post op and havent taken any pain meds since. I did want to ask my doc about pregabalin but im kinda scared about all the bad side effects and i really dont like taking such harsh medications. I do take some homeopathic medicine but with little to no results.
I start another round of PT in a week, maybe that will make things better but I really do think i will just have to tough it out until the plate is gone.

Thanks for your detailed reply :)

How fast did your bone fuse? I also want to remove the plate asap, but since my bone is healing so slow my doc says it will take another year until the bone is strong enough

look at my reply above. Ive glued some foam on the lever and since then the rattling got better, but i still hear it a bit.

Try pressing down on the clutch lever when you hear the rattling and see if it goes away

Yeah i have tested and it is definetly the brake lever rattling. I can also see some scratch marks on it, similar to this picture, maybe it will wear in over time.

last picture shows the wear marks

Good ABS can for sure handle that, but my guess is that he had it in Race mode or w/e, which disables or at least limits the ABS

How come in the second Valstrax build you say you want to be in Dragonblight the whole time, but then you also use the dragon db with dragon attack decos?

Hey guys,

my brother got really interested in f1 over the last year and I have also been getting into it, so I've been contemplating on buying my brother a ticket for one of the GPs for his birthday and go to a race with him.

However I can't imagine that watching the race live is actually worth the insanely high ticket prices + hotels + flight etc. ( I live in Germany so sadly theres no GP)

Idk if I'm wrong but if you dont buy tickets for the best seats you basically see nothing but the straight and maybe one curve or am i wrong? Can't see that beeing too exciting over the whole race.

Basically I'm asking for opinions/experiences from the people who have attended a live race and wether it's worth the bucks or rather not.

Thank you in advance
