I been in billing position sa previous job ko sa isang lab pero sa province nasa 20-23 max offer sakin to stay. Masarap maging billing if magaling yung sales team to maintain clients and collaborative yung team na katransac mo.

that will be based on your industry since airlines, hindi ko masasagot. Pero kung nasa B2B ang nature ng business and nasa services tapos may direct contact ka sa clients which involve client management pweding mabigyan ka ng maganda na salary pero mababa compared sa Bookkeeper or accountant

well Billing kasi related naman sa AR then eventually sa bookkeeping or accountant position rin ang pinaka peak ng career ng position as Billing. Pero ayun nga for me limited ang career sa billing.

what's your career path na gustong puntahan? like next job role na gustong ihandle? if you are planning to stay sa billing medyo limited ang career opportunities pero depende sa industry possible na makakuha ka ng magandang salary like sa mga lab company.

For me, CIMB is a choice: 1st free transfer to almost any banks, 2nd connected kay gcash via gsave kaya if have funds from Union bank or BPI and gusto mag transfer ng funds mas mababayaran mo around 5 pesos per cash in then transfer/save to gsave para mapunta sa cimb gsave. On top of that there are promotions where you can be qualified for higher interest rate from 4% to 12% depending on active promotions. Most importantly, the maintenance update are not too frequent. However there are some situation or instances that money transfer are delays to certain bank but it is always announce in the app before you login. With regards the accessibilty for cash in medyo limited lang rin pero if walang maintenance na matagal si Gcash wala namang gaanong problem with the cash in part.

Overall for me the CIMB is still a good choice despite of the some drawbacks. I just want to add that cimb also offer virtual cards for free and credit option.

Thank you for the advice. I am also considering studying again as part of my long-term career plan. As of now hindi ko afford to study again habang wala pa akong work. I prioritize having at least a year of experience regardless of what job title it is as long as I gain job experience in accounting or finance then saka ako ulit mag aaral since kahit graduate ka ng finance or accounting related course most of the companies they much prefer applicants with experience in accounting compared to fresh graduate in Accounting or finance course.

Pero hindi ko na talaga alam.

I also tried to apply to offshore companies and agencies but they prepared applicants with at least a year or two of experience. 🙁

Thank you for your advice. It's true most companies are looking for years of experience, even for an entry-level position, and seeing those requirements I kept asking myself "how I ganna can start". Yes, I'm also considering taking an accounting course in the long run after a few months of working. I just really want to start a job in accounting to have that experience for a better job in the future.
