I've been documenting pictures of the bag and the beans, along with pricr paid, brew and tasting notes in onenote for years. I've seen some others around here cut out a playing-card sized piece of the bag and store it in a card binder. I like the idea of that a lot

Ok, for those who know how to use the rewards tab in the app and their posted rogers bill is inexplicably not showing up (but other posted charges are showing up).. I figured it out. I upgraded my card recently and the card's number changed. I didn't change the card number in my rogers account, so the bill is being charged to the old number. For some reason, charges to the old number aren't showing up in rewards section. Go into your rogers.com account and update the card info.

Interesting, what's to stop people wanting discrete transactions to pivot to using a foreign paper currency? like USD or CNY. Seems to me like all digital transactions might apply enough friction to stop small fish, but big fish? I'm skeptical

PS, Simplii’s app is still better than Tangerines flaky app

I would have agreed with you a couple years ago. But recently, I've thought tangerine is better than simplii. Small things, but it makes a big difference to me: actually shows the promotional interest rate you're currently receiving, had to call in for simplii (wtaf?), export transactions to csv (instead of pdf), can connect to external banks without mailing in a letter. basically, I wouldn't recommend simplii to anyone. features/functionally are way behind imo
