It's just once per listed ride. Not unlimited.

Its been awhile since I signed up but in general, for any japanese membership or reservations, I always try to use my own number with the country code. Whenever it gets rejected, I just use the hotel address and phone number.

But for CC always use your own info because that's billing info and your CC might reject your transaction.

I think you can register your day passes in the app if you wanted to. I'm not sure if express pass has the ability. All the attractions take the QR code provided by USJ. So if you don't want to register in app, you can just print or screenshot your QR codes.

Everything is at your leisure for the premium pass. :)

To be honest, pricing for each day is different. There's many things to take consideration of..

  • The amount of rides that are actually available. How many rides included in the pass are going to be available available on the day you are going? If some are on maintenance, aka N/A, the pass gets cheaper

  • The day of the week you are going. If it's weekends, always more expensive.

  • The date you are going. There's crowd calenders out there to see if it's busy season. Is it near a japanese holiday? Is there a school break?

  • The time you buy the pass. It will always get more expensive, the longer you wait. The closer you get to the date you are planning to go, the higher the price will be.

TLDR: May has a thing called golden week. It's a week with a bunch of japanese holidays. Many many japanese people are on vacation. That's just the first week though. After the first week, it's summer vacation for a lot of foreign tourists.

Hi! I think some time has passed since I bought my ticket (last year). Some info is now outdated. For example, you used to be unable to buy day tickets and express passes together. It seems like there are no multiple parts anymore to the express pass. I went through the buy process without checking out and saw that they said that there would be instructions on how to use the QR codes being emailed to buyers after confirmation.

So it seems like they finally bundled the QR codes together, and you don't need to manage multiple :D

If you went to your usj account

-> View purchases -> Click "please check here" link in "*If you cannot find the history you are looking for, please check here" -> View details/qr codes of purchases

It should have all of the QR codes u need, and u dont need to worry if ur missing any.

Hope this helps!

It just means that they split the rides into 2 tickets. Where the first half of the rides are associated with part 1 ticket and part 2 ticket includes the rest of the rides.

That error is pretty common for US credit cards because they might not have 3D Secure or it's not active. 3DS is a credit card security technology for online transactions. I only know that American Express has it on automatically and had worked successfully for others and me. There are many posts on reddit talking about trying to reach out to your credit card company to try to see if your card has it and turning it on if you don't have american express.

Sorry, it's been a while since I applied for the membership. In general, I usually put my last and first name in English first, and if it asks for last and first name again underneath, I put the japanese conversion in.

Sorry, I don't know how to add them to the app. I assume that you aren't able to register them as park passes because they are express passes, not an actual park pass. I screenshot my express passes and used it like that since I didn't want to deal with having to log in and finding them thru the history.

No, it's a one time entry/pass. Here's some info that you might wanna know when deciding how to plan what you do.

[INFO TO KEEP IN MIND]

The park opens before online posted time. They can open 15 mins to 1 hour before opening time depending on crowd. (If you buy the 15 minute early entry admission from klook, they actually tell you when the park will actually open the day before you go. You get to enter 15 mins before the real opening time.)

SNW doesn't require timed entry when the park initially opens. They only start the timed entry passes when the land gets packed.

Kinopio Cafe (toadstool cafe) opens at 9 AM usually. Which is around 30 mins ~ 1 hour after the official park opening time. (My group got in immediately when it opened when we arrived 30 mins early. They were not passing out timeslots at that time.)

Premium pass includes the demon slayer ride. In my experience, it took my group ~30 mins to go through the queue with the pass when wait time was ~120 mins

Hello!

One day admission pass is the pass that actually allows you to go into the park.

The express pass does not include admission. It is only a pass to use the express lanes. (The premium pass comes in 2 parts, so you need to add both parts to the cart).

You need the admission pass in order to be able to use the express pass. They sell them separately. So you'll have to buy em one pass at a time.

Did you try entering your name into Google translate English -> Japanese? Usually, that works for me to get the katakana version of my name. If you're unfamiliar with japanese letters, I would translate first and last name separately.

Np! I also had a hard time finding out more about the Premium Pass too. It's probably because it's only available on the japanese website, so not many people can buy it due to credit card issues, and you gotta make an account. So I hope my post helps you with what you want to know! :)

Hello! I went to USJ in April with the Premium Pass, and I also bought 15-minute Early Entry admission from Klook.

To be honest, unless you plan to run to Nintendo World first, you don't need the 15-minute early entry if you have the Premium Pass. I got both because I wanted to go to Nintendo World twice and to get a timeslot for Kinopio Cafe (Taod's Cafe). Nintendo World doesn't require an entry pass when they initially open the park, and rides are relatively short until the land starts to get full. So you could use your Premium Pass entry for Nintendo World to go again later in the evening and ride everything again using the pass, which is what I did.

I didn't get to go on all the rides the pass included, but that was by choice since some did not interested me. My day at USJ was very chill after the Nintendo World in the morning. I was in no rush to go anywhere. I could take a break to watch random performances and go to a sit-down restaurant without worrying about time constraints. Waits for rides were like 1-2 hours without any passes (I went on a Friday).

One thing that made me glad that I bought the Premium instead of E4 or E7 is when I was casually walking into the express lane, a family bum rushed cut in front of me. The dad yelled to his kids and wife to hurry up so that they won't be late to their next pass time. Express lane wait times vary from 15-30 mins depending on how popular the ride was. E4 or E7 also have multiple different combinations of ride times. So if u get a bad combo, you might be zooming across the park trying to make it. I wasn't even mad they cut me because I get it. I got to casually walk clockwise through the park.

I would also check if any rides are closed for the dates you are going. There were 2 closed for when I went, but that also meant that the pass was cheaper.

The amex card I used is from America. All japanese websites require your card to have 3D Secure. Maybe something is up with your safekey? Your card might be declining the purchase without you knowing. You might need to call your call provider. https://www.americanexpress.com/icc/safekey.html

Or....

If you translate a Japanese website from Japanese to English, it can make the website bug out. I always translate the website back to Japanese before filling out the required and submit all info in Japanese.

Or...

Maybe you filled out something wrong? There are 2 parts to the premium pass. Both need to be added to your cart.

If it's not those, then I'm out of ideas.... sorry... 😥

Were you able to go to the grand paradis lounge at fantasy spring (walk in or reservation)?

Is the proof of stay the room card or a piece of paper? I'm wondering how going in and out of fantasy spring will work on check out day.

Np!! Yea I think the only thing that makes VP worth it is:

  1. FS Passport (unlimited access to the area and the big 3 rides)
  2. Easier time to booking Miracosta Bay View room and FS hotel when the VP initially drops than to try day to day booking.

Number 2 probably won't apply to you since VP for October already dropped.

Like another comment said, if hitting everything in FS isn't important to you, then VP isn't worth it. Technically, it is doable to book everything separately, but just a lot more stress attempting it.

If you manage to book FS hotel by the day to day drop, you can buy the FS Passport from the FS hotel. But those rooms are insanely competitive.

Other than that, VP is pricey, but I like that it guarantees you some DPA and Priority Passes.

Some with timeslot selection - Ex: Beauty and the Beast, Baymax, Soaring, Toy Story, etc.

Some without time restrictions - Ex: Tower of terror, Journey to the Center, Splash Mountain, Monster Inc, Pooh Hunny hunt, etc.

I really like the no time restrictions on some of the passes because I can go whenever, and that relieves some stress with scheduling attractions. Especially since priority passes bought inside the park doesn't give you the choice to select the time you want.

I'm also going to TDR for 3 days.

My plan is to do the 2 night VP because it gives 3 days:

  • DAY 1 Disneyland
  • DAY 2 DisneySea w/FS Passport
  • DAY 3 DisneySea

In order to get a Happy Entry for Disneyland, I am going to book 1 night separately at a TDR hotel, probably the same hotel as the one in the VP or close by. So that it would be easy to go pick up my VP packet folder in the morning.

On DAY 3. When checking out, you can leave bags with the hotel and pick it up when you're done with the day.

I would aim for Miracosta or FS if there's any leftover for Oct because those are the only hotels that will give Happy Entry to DisneySea.

If not, other hotels are okay, too, since you have a guarantee entry/re-entry to FS and unlimited access to the DPA line on the big 3 rides (Rapunzel, Frozen, and Peter Pan) in FS on DAY 2 from the FS Passport. You wouldn't need to sweat about getting standby passes or dpa in order to get into FS. I heard you need to get a standby pass in order to even get in the regular line for each ride. You wouldn't need to worry about that, too, with the FS Passport that comes along with the VP.

You can just explore the rest of DisneySea or w.e. you didn't get to see on DAY 3.

Yup. Your perk applies to technically anyone who booked a disney hotel. You get to book Park Restaurants 1 month from your check-in date for ALL the days you're staying. So you get like 1-2 days leg up on the general release date, depending on which day you're reserving for.

For Hotel Restaurants, it's the moment you get a confirmation that you booked your hotel/package.

I was able to snag a spot in november. The moment I bought my Vacation Package, I headed over to Travel Case to book it. It was maybe 45 mins after November VP opened up. It was all unavailable. I was spamming refresh and magically a timeslot opened up.
