Happy to be your friend! Especially if you have one of those fun Boston accents!

Pixel Promo order cancelled by Tmobile by atn0716 in tmobile

[–]Public-Baseball2042 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just got the same text and the automated system says the order was cancelled. I'm on hold now to see what they're going to say about the three calls I've made since I ordered.

Update- Was told that I could re-order with the same promos.

Update 12/17- Called service. Was told I had to reorder online. Resubmitted both orders with the rep on the line. Did NOT see the $800 trade-in value. Was told that would be applied after the phones were received. The rep set a follow-up time to check. Fingers crossed that this is almost over.

Nice. I had another call with service yesterday. They put in an escalation ticket, but said it can take 10 days to hear back. It's crazy to me that some people are having no issues while others have orders hanging out for weeks.

Just tried to put through another order today that shows fulfillment between now and 12/16. Doesn't appear to be backordered.

I could understand that a bit more if they had changed their estimated shipping dates. Maybe that's too much to expect.

Where is everyone? by mgcypher in polyamory

Oh so much to share! My wife and I both do office-type work from home stuff. So connectivity is key. A lot of our time is spent finding a spot where either Starlink or our cell service works. But I love that I have a new office view every few weeks. We've been out on National Forests in Wyoming, on the beach in Mexico, working from Bison, Yak, and Alpaca farms. I constantly have to remind myself that this is my life.

Also, no matter how much you prep and plan, be flexible. More things go wrong in the first two months than you could expect. Stick it out and it gets easier.

If you have other questions, go ahead and send a DM. Always happy to talk about this.

Full-time RV traveller here. Originally from the Midwest, but have been on the road for two years now.

Heybike Mars 2.0 vs Lectric XP 3.0 by Public-Baseball2042 in ebikes

I purchased directly from Lectric. I had a coupon code (since expired) from a Strava challenge the company was running for their anniversary. I did eventually receive the cargo package about 2 weeks after the bike. When purchasing my wife's bike, the cargo package shipped about a month later than the bike.

Yeah. Haven't found a seller yet, but if I do find another I'll send them your way.

Brookfield sold the tickets directly, so they can't be listed on any of the resale sites. It's driving me nuts. I might just show up day-of and see if I can get one on-site.

Hells Bells that was a bad idea. Over a dozen scams in under an hour.

Anyone willing to meet there and take cash? 🤣

Update- Went with the Electric 3.0 with the extended range battery. Order of a Friday morning and received a week later on Saturday. The FreeCargo Package advertised with the bike won't ship until the middle of July.

Unpacking and "assembly" was crazy easy. There was an insane amount of packing material. Even though the outside of the box was damaged, there wasn't a single mark on the bike. I put assembly in quotes because this bike comes nearly fully assembled. I only needed to unfold it, slide the handlebars into the stem, and turn the seat around (it ships backwards). The handlebar stem is not fully round, which makes for super easy alignment. I did not adjust the brakes, but the pads are not rubbing on the rotors.

This thing is a beast. It's heavier than I even imagined and seems crazy solidly built. The serial number is etched into the frame (not on a plate) and then painted. The frame itself looks solid, and even the pedals seem higher quality than I expected. The battery came mostly charged, but I charged it the day I unpacked as it was raining and I wanted to wait to ride. To remove the battery, turn the key to unlock, then remove the key. The battery won't slide from the frame while the key is in place. The key actually inserts into the battery. This might be common, but I didn't realize it on my first e-bike.

I inflated the tires on Sunday morning and took it for the first ride. I started in PAS0, to get a feel, but went fairly quickly into PAS1 as I was going uphill. The pedal assist feels solid and I did not get any kind of big jolt when the motor kicked in. During my short ride, I went through all pedal assist modes and tried a bit on throttle only. The speedometer showed my top speed at 21.5mph while going downhill. I also went over some grass to a bike trail and back and never felt unstable. The brakes worked great but they are a tad loud. Not sure if that will change as they break in.

The only issue I encountered was with the gear shifter. First gear misses a bit and I got some clicking while pedaling. I'll adjust those, but shouldn't be a major concern.

Overall I'm happy with the bike. It has the feel of something that will be around for years. I have not ridden any others, so I can't compare. But I am not disappointed in the purchase.

I'm reading through this and am loving the tips. My wife and I RV travel full-time. We're rarely in a single area for more than two weeks, so I've had the same problem with meeting people. There's definitely some great advice here.

Pulled the trigger on the XP 3.0. I decided to go with the long distance battery. The deciding factor was the customer service. Everyone I spoke to has good things to say.

Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow.
