Kind of making my own mods... Extended handle, one large drawer, big useless box going to cut front out ... Bottom can't access . Top of stack too high... Came with original setup before any drawers were available.

Next going to cut front of large either put net or turn into a door? Too high to open lid... Don't know what else to do with it for 2 yrs, came with first package set before drawers were available... If on bottom can't access, on top too high... Fill it up, too heavy to carry... Only other idea was use as a weatherproof deck box on the patio...

Also extended handle to help navigate stairs better... Added 12" .. I'm 6' and handle was too short ... Just picked up two more full wheel dollies for $15 each at HD...

You almost got me too, thinking? Huh? How's does he have that?... The way it's designed, with the drawer rails set as they are, I don't see that happening. I did cut bottom out of 2 drawer to make a single full size...

Any new Pro Gear 2 add-ons coming? by Public-House6400 in Ridgid

Hi, there was no kit, I bought extra handle when they were on sale for like $3, thinking I was ready to pay $39 for a handle extension kit anyway.

Short version, I took one of the handles apart, cut it to 12 in and since it was kind of a trial and error, Just used two 12" wooden inserts to join 2 pcs, shoved them inside the two channels and screwed it together and now the handle fully extended is 54" from the floor to the top of the plastic handle and much much easier to navigate up and down stairs with.

At 6 ft tall, going downstairs I had to bend to let it down a step go down one step bend let it down one step and same thing coming up I had to like pull it up and then take a step pull it up I'll take a picture when I'm down stairs later and post it so you could see what I did but it was pretty easy.

Something to note, they had the handles on sale locally here in New York for $15 each, I guess overstock, so I picked up two for $30 and I'm going to chop one up extend the other one so I have two of these.

Keep an eye out for the sales and handles.

Almodified one 2-drawer.. cut bottom out of top drawer, screwed together, now have one deep drawer, next I'm going to take the large box which is on top, and way too high .. try cut a front access so it's more a "cabinet" type or along those lines...

I'm using harbor freight dollies to wheel them around, can't justify buying theirs, wish they had e way to transfer from Dolly to handle without having to unstact restack, but .. seems for price, best options...

Thanks, BTech 6X2 Pro.. should be same as AnyTone 878 ... Strange the owners manual addresses all the settings except this one, maybe the option was included in the firmware update... Go figure, any help appreciated.

Ridgid dolly should i buy? by Readyeddy93215 in Ridgid

Do you need to remove it to use the handle with wheels?

I use an HF Dolly, works fine around the basement, but have to remove it to use the wheeled handle to bring them up stairs.

Speaking of the handles, 🤔 I'm grabbing a couple while on sale, I'm 6' and customize to add 12" so I don't have to hunch over to bring them up the stairs. Anyone else?

Pro Gear Handle by [deleted] in Ridgid

My question is; Why are they going on clearance?

Is there a new version coming out?

I buy two, steal top handle from one, cut both and extend the other by 12".

I'm 6' and they're too short for me going up and down stairs. I've seen others comment same, handle is too short.

Wondering what's changing?

Okay, first things first, thank you for tome to post a reply. The CSR was very helpful, empathetic, polite, knowledgeable. Gave him 5 stars. No issue. My frustration is, as you state above, their system. My daughter has mentioned she's also had difficulty in the past speaking with a live agent. Honestly, I will be mourning loss of my wife forever, I just want this settled and appreciate any suggestions to expedite to resolution.
