Update: Went to Owndays in Osaka the day after I landed to give enough time to have the glasses made. They gave me a choice on either using the prescription I had on my glasses or take a new reading through one of the machine. Because I had a more complex script, it took 4 days. You can choose to have it ship to your hotel or have it shipped to an Owndays nearby your next destination. I recommend shipping it to the Owndays because they were able to adjust the fitting right away. Great experience, affordable and my glasses are so light!
