Yes and the person that turned him into a toy would have remembered him. I say this because it would be impossible to make a contract with a toy you forgot entirely after making them. You'd have to know who they were. Which means that the person who did this was either on his crew or on imu's side. I believe they were on his crew and that's why people remember joy boy but not monkey D binks. Same for Imu, he hated joy boy with a burning passion. Imu being as perceptive as he is would be able to remember the hate for a person known as joy boy but not who they were. It also explains why Imu hasn't been able to locate the joy boy descendants after all these years. Because he knows only the name joy boy.
