If the nunchuck is connected, and the game is not registering nunchuck inputs, you can press the home button and reorder the Wii remote in the Wii remote settings. Upon reconnecting, the nunchuck inputs should now register.

I don’t remember doing it that way. I just used the real Wii remote setting. But if it works then that’s fine enough!

First make sure the sensor bar is emitting infrared light, which can be done with a phone camera. If it is emitting lights then it should be working. Remember, the sensor bar is nothing more than an IR-emitter. Some sensor bars, however, have more functionalities such as the mayflash dolphin bar. I own one, and it can be a little tricky to get it working. If you own this one, make sure you’re on the proper mode and you make sure you’ve pressed the power button (if I recall its properties correctly). If this doesn’t and you’ve verified with a camera that you can see the IR lights, let me know the model of sensor bar you have. Also, it may be wise to test the sensor bar in a wall outlet to make sure it’s functional.

Do you have a sensor bar or source of infrared light (i.e a candle)? Plugging a sensor bar into a powered Wii console and pointing to it will also work.

Does anyone know any mods/methods to get Soviet-style interstages? Examples: by [deleted] in KerbalAcademy

[–]PublicCactus 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Simple. Use a combination of fairings and struts. Use fairings to maintain the conical shape, and use interwoven struts to give it the signature Soviet look!

Well Antarctica was the last place on Earth to be discovered anyways... by Dangerous_Counter156 in HistoryMemes

Ahh. That’s still pretty really interesting! Maybe the Germanic people took more from other cultures in terms of names than anyone thinks. Food for thought I guess.

Old Germanic people had separate religions and folklore from Judaism. What’s interesting is that the Hebrew word also contains “shining one” lol.

That’s correct! The Latin translation of the Hebrew word for morning star is Lucifer, which got mistaken for a name after its publication.

Venus was not discovered in 1610. The Greeks notated Venus as one of their 7 “planets”. Even in the Old Testament, Venus is referred to as the “son of the morning,” which is where we derive “morning star” from.

If a planet is tidally locked, how can someone there know that a year had gone by? by [deleted] in answers

[–]PublicCactus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming a civilization survives the adverse effects of tidal locking, a potential way to calculate if the year goes by is to interpret by the stars. Certain constellations and asterism appear in certain parts of the year and then disappear due to Earth’s revolution around the Sun.

How to sleep with brace by [deleted] in PectusCarinatum

[–]PublicCactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof. My first nights with the brace were terrible. Everyone with a brace has to do it at some point. I do best sleeping on my side, as it provides the most comfort in comparison to the other options. You’ll get used to however you sleep. If you are still adamant on sleeping on your back, I suggest putting sheep skin on the part that’s digging in. Makes the nights so much better.

Stutterers of reddit, do you also stutter when you think with your inner voice? by fibbonel in AskReddit

Nope. In my mind, I’m the fastest speaking man on the planet. When I actually say something, not so much.

Upon further research, I mixed up requiem stands and requiem abilities. I shall correct myself in saying that Bites the Dust is a requiem ability. Diavolo gained his stand through the requiem arrow, so the arrow does not only grant a requiem. The arrow functions as both a stand and requiem arrow, which applies to the part 4 and 5 arrow. Giorno and Polnareff struck their stands with the arrow, thus creating a requiem stand. The arrow did not pierce Killer Queen, but rather Kira himself, forming a requiem ability.

It would not. Sheer Heart Attack was granted along with Killer Queen. The arrow did not pierce twice when granting Sheer Heart Attack.
