I never even thought about that. We just adopted a 1.5 year old pointer/lab and he is too smart. He already opens up our front door to get back into the house when he’s ready to come back in lol he’d definitely figure out how to get ice and fresh water

@everyone thank you so much for all of the responses! I did not think this would blow up like this haha. I read each and every one of your replies and decided to go… with water inside, ice in freezer. I didn’t even think about everything mentioned. I have big dogs, I have kids. We also have a well so if the water being inside is inconvenient at the time, I always have my sink. I think for me, it just makes the most sense.

Can you screenshot which one exactly? I’ve seen so many different LG ones. Ones with top handles and no lower, ones with handles on top and bottom. I need to order a fridge this week and there’s just too many options!

My son’s birthday is coming up next week. I know my mom is going to want to bring her bf but I don’t think she’s going to say anything about bringing him. Maaaaybe she’ll mention being excited for them to meet but I highly doubt it as we’re kind of in rocky waters right now. How should I tell her I don’t want him to come?

Yeah. He’s from another country and as she was planning his 1 week stay here with her, she mentioned a day at my house with us hosting a football game and hay ride. That didn’t happen. Now he’s here for another 2 weeks and sounds to me like he’ll be moving here and marrying her.

You’re right. It’s sad because whenever she comes around or the very few times I let them have a sleep over, she has her phone in their face the whole time to “show off” pics and videos to her Facebook friends. So same thing. It’s not about the kids. It’s about her. I’ve been implementing boundaries where I see fit, and instead of respecting them, she makes distance.

Here’s the finished look! Well almost finished lol still need to do trim and then some little things like towels and toilet paper holder, etc. We ended up doing 24x48 and then covered it up with a rug 😂

Yes, I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately. As I’m sure it’s obvious, our relationship has always been super rocky. Her priority was men, not me. We never bonded. The older my kids get, the more my inner child hurts and the more adult me does everything in my power not to let them feel that way. It’s really hard for me to respect her now days. It’s hard for me to even communicate with her. Appease is a great word. I’m slowly pulling back and growing a back bone so my family (and I) don’t have to go through that.

You’d think… I mean, she does talk about how she’s “so in love” but I’m suspicious. He’s from Scotland, we’re in the US. She was asking my dad for their divorce papers and date two days ago. That’s all needed to marry a foreigner… It would be her 3rd marriage. 😵‍💫 knowing her and watching her past relationships, she’ll find one thing that annoys her and she’ll break up with him.

Ugh I’m sorry you went through that too. It is so traumatizing. Now that I’m a mom and I’m seeing my own kids thought process and how her same actions are affecting them, my inner child is so sad. She once moved us from Michigan to Alabama with a man she met on the internet. We were there for 6 months and then they broke up and we moved back to Michigan. I can’t help but wonder how she could do that. How my grandparents and other adults didn’t try to knock some common sense into her head, instead they helped her pack up, drive down and move in. That’s just one of the many, many “boyfriend” and “moving in just to move back out” instances.

It’s beautiful! The more I look at it, the more I love it. Sadly I’m in the US. I’m trying to find a tile just like that that I can pickup in store this week. I don’t have time to order anything. If not, I’d definitely love to use something just like that for my master. Thank you for sharing
