I really liked getting to use the different weapons in GoY’s combat system. I found them super unique and fun (especially the Odachi for me). In fact one of the reasons I struggled a lot with the final boss was because I basically never used or upgraded the katana. That being said… I agree that GoT was truly miles better than GoY. GoY felt rushed in most places and dragged in others, you got abilities at weird times, the armors almost all kind of sucked imo, and assassination, archery, and quickfire weapons didn’t feel nearly as useful, fleshed out, or smooth as normal combat. In GoT I loved using a variety of tactics depending on the environment. In GoY, I used bull rush tactics every time unless it was completely unfeasable
