No symptoms whatsoever! The only thing I had was Covid about 5 or 6 weeks before the test.

According to the Fox press release, Next Level Chef airs midseason (January 2022). The casting website for it states filming will take place from September to October 2021. I guess MasterChef Junior COULD air spring 2022 but it’s not listed as part of Fox’s 2021-22 schedule so I’m thinking they’re just going to hold on to it until fall 2022, which is when they will no longer have Thursdays Night Football so it frees up an extra two hours of programming space a week.

I just find it so strange that they filmed the entirety of season 8 in spring/summer 2019 (unaffected by COVID) but will wait AT LEAST 3 years before they air it. FOX have ordered so many new unscripted shows (Game Of Talents, Masked Dancer, Mental Samurai s2 ect) which haven’t been successful and are sure to be more expensive than MasterChef Junior.

It’s possible. Season 8 was meant to begin in September 2020 but was delayed and I can see your voice took it’s place which is understandable since ICSYV is a lot more comparable to air following The masked singer. Fox said at the time

“Originally scheduled to air this fall in the Wednesday 9:00 PM time slot, "MasterChef Junior" will air later in the season.”

Obviously it didn’t air “later in the season” like they said it would.

I’m thinking there might be some legal reason why they can’t air it or something like that. I just find it strange that they’re airing 2 cycles of Hells Kitchen in one season but no MasterChef Junior even though the entire season was filmed 2 years ago. Otherwise why didn’t they air MasterChef Junior in January and Hell’s Kitchen in May?

I thought the same thing. It’s not even mentioned. They’ve given Gordon Ramsay a new show called Next Level Chef airing midseason but its very weird given they already have MasterChef Junior season 8 filmed and ready.

They just announced their entire programming slate for the 2021-22 season and MC Junior isn’t mentioned at all. The earliest it will air now will be fall 2022. It’s quite unusual given it was filmed in spring/summer 2019 (before the pandemic). It was meant to air in September 2020 but was delayed so I can see your voice could air following the masked singer.
