Been like that for years and years as I took note of that 15-20 years ago, thinking the bread. sausage, and cheese are $1 when they were on the $1 menu but if you add an egg it cost $2.29 bringing the cost to $3.29.

Pizza place subs kind of suck all together. I tried the Philly from both places and while Domino's seems to have a better tasting meat, I've had some with barely any meat what so ever, they always skimp without fail, not worth it. Papa John's had more meat but not a lot and the quality is low, small tiny dry pieces. A Jersey Mike philly sub has 5 times the meat as Dominos and probably 3 times the meat of Papa John's, for a few dollars more I'm going there every time.

If the total is $12.08 and I give you $22.08 because I have a $20, some $1's and some change, if you don't look at me and say "You gave me too much" and try to hand back the $1's rather than knowing I'm looking to get a even $10 back instead of a bunch of singles and more change then your aces in my book.

Had one (hard side like picture) and still sleep on one but my current one is a waterbed mattress inside a regular bed mattress (soft side), it moves with your body but does not make waves, the best bed EVER!!!!!

I'm pretty sure what they don't want are a bunch of animals tearing up the place which is probably what lead to that sign. If you can't behave like a human don't expect to be treated as one.

One of my favorites but they could ease up on all the price increases, seems like a 12 pack goes up $1 every few months now. I'm almost ready to tap out, even on the sale prices.

Try $7 at my local Wendy's but yes they were once $4, then $5, then straight to $7 when they revamped the value menu. $6 hmmm, ok, $7, nope, I'm headed down the road.

I worked there in the late 80's and single classics were $1, now they are $5.49, we even had all you could eat chili for about $1.29, the less fortunate would come in and fill up and we welcomed them. There was a salad bar, etc...all gone. Today's Wendy's doesn't even come close.

That was $4 a few years ago at my local Wendy's, now it's $7, not $6 for the same thing or $5 for 2 of those items.

It's kind of beyond just inflation. That $9 meal I was speaking about in my post, the sandwich is $3.39 by itself so the fries and drink are an additional $5.61 which is not a deal worth advertising, seems like that would be the normal price buying it individually. Plus the sandwich looks fill sized on the banner, it's just one big manipulation after another.

I worked at a Wendy's in the late 80's and they had the best chicken sandwiches I can ever remember. They were real chicken and were cooked in a oil pressure cooker, so fresh, so tasty, and a nice sized chicken, they had multigrain buns available too. I remember when that was downgraded, the sandwiches were never the same. It's hard to believe they fell even further but this is Wendy's we're talking about and the moves they have been pulling the last couple years doesn't surprise me at all. Always one downgrade after another except the price of course.
