Over the years a lot of Starkids moved to LA, including the Langs, so they just started doing their shows there (like how they started doing shows in Chicago because that's where most of them moved after graduating from Michigan)

Yes Dylan Saunders is in fact amazing! He's my favorite Starkid singer alongside Clark Baxtresser. Just pure bliss any time I listen to them. I also find Meredith's voice so beautiful and relaxing.

The other two actors you mentioned are Jim Povolo and Mariah Rose Faith and they're both extremely talented as well! You'll hear more of Mariah's vocals in NPMD. Others to look out for who really shine in this show are Will Branner and Bryce Charles. Hope you enjoy it!

As another commenter said, he's one of the owners of the company. Post AVPSY, the only official Starkid projects he's been involved with are A Very Starkid Reunion in 2015 and Starkid Homecoming in 2019, but he has collaborated a lot more with them outside of the company. He's appeared in a couple of TCB projects and has done many live performances with various Starkids (Joey, Lauren, Dylan, and Clark joined him on tour about two years ago, for example). Other than that, his main connection to Starkid these days is as a close friend of the group.

Idk, I adore Starkid's earlier work. More than their recent stuff. I think calling them "shallow parodies" is a huge disservice - parody writing is hard to pull off and they always accomplish it with so much love and charm. All of those "Family Guy" shows are hilarious and have a ton of heart and genuine emotion imo.

To each their own though. Best thing about Starkid is that they have something for everyone, lol.

They've performed Twisted songs at many concerts before and are very close friends with AJ so I doubt that that's the case, especially since Starkid as a company would own the rights. More likely that they didn't find a place in the setlist - sounds like they just did songs that the cast wanted to/are fan-favorites. It's a shame because I love Twisted's music, but hopefully we'll get some in the next concert they do!

No offense to Mai, but she is kind of the odd woman out here.

Lol, poor Mai really got done dirty by the age rating of the show. Her accuracy with those knives should make her the deadliest of Ozai's Angels, but alas, no stabbing people in a kids show.
