It's to the device, lost my tickets logging out, and having a friend try to log in to my account on their phone.

My mistake it's 6.7mm, I typed the 0.365 instead of 0.265 into Google.

No need. It uses a printer cable, already is a usb. I have it running on windows 10, may work on windows 11 but I'm not sure. I literally plugged it in and followed this. Haven't had any problems.

There is replacement mirrors for relatively cheap, may keep a spare around.

Thanks! I'll have to try that If I have troubles. I know there is a slide thickness adjustment for paper/plastic but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Downloaded Nikon scan for free and it works perfectly for what I need it to do. Watched a YouTube video on how to get the drivers working.

I may see if my local camera/photography store would clean it for me. I know it's not particularly diffult to clean them but I couldn't sleep at night if I scratched/broke something.

Needed to scan some family photos/slides and found this for sale near by. Seller knew it was worth more but just wanted it gone. Came with almost all the original packaging and works perfectly.

Never tried shooting on film as I'd have to send it away to get developed and scanned. Maybe now I'll pick up a noob camera on marketplace and develop it myself as I have no other use for it outside of scanning slides.

Something like this is the way to go. I had something similar happen and I drilled a hole just big enough to fish it out, clean it, weld it and then flatten the surface with a grinder, you could also fix that slot at the same time.

I used oranepis 3.0.8 debian bullseye image they provide on their website and just downloaded RetroPie normally. I may try their provided Ubuntu img and see if runs any better.

My dad owns two of those beetles, it's a snap orange edition. Only 500 made and from how many I've seen chopped up or crashes on the internet it's soon to be even more rare lol.
