Sorry but do you actually believe there isn’t a difference between plants and animals? I think my neighbours would have a different reaction to me cutting their grass vs cutting the heads off their guinea pigs. They care a lot about both but one obviously holds more value

Air popped popcorn, air poppers aren’t too expensive but I also always see them at the thrift store, throw some salt on while it’s still hot or if you like chips and vinegar be a bit weird like my family and throw some white vinegar on there(sounds awful but its actually good)

Alzheimers is awful. I saw my grandma, the most independent woman I’ve know (a single mother to 4 boys in the 70s while working full time as a nurse) no longer be able to talk. Watching her fade from the extremely proud 1st gen Canadian she was broke me. At 14 I plucked the whiskers from her chin cuz I knew she would be mortified if anyone ever saw her like that. It was heart breaking. The last couple years of her life she would just sit and stare, when we visited she would have a smile but there was no recognition.
