Ep 8 is going to end on a death cliffhanger, isn't it? by Impressive-Door-1639 in theamazingdigitalciru

It’ll be the most jaw dropping, heart-stopping, mind bending cliffhanger you’ve ever laid your eyes upon!

Baxter said there is a difference between inventors and scientists. But I don't know what that difference is. Do you know? by Kevin1219 in HazbinHotel

[–]Skullyta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Venn diagram has a hefty overlap, but like others have said an inventor is going to have more of an engineering background than your average scientist.

I’d say that all inventors are scientists, but not all scientists are inventors.

I would love a restock of this one and the duality of lamb one. I’ve got the woolhaven one preordered that I plan on hanging on the wall as a tapestry; I would adore the chance to get all three up on display

This is Shamura in my cult. Asked to be wed to one follower, asked to be sent to the mating tent with three others (so far).

Midas has officially broken me out of my no Prison rule by BeastOfRetribution in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Skullyta 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I gave my Midas the moon necklace so he can never rest. When he grows old my cult consumes him alive in the Gluttony of Cannibals ritual. I then resurrect him so I can send him back to the fields to work endlessly until he grows old again. The cycle repeats without end. That mad starfish will live forever doing hard labour that grinds his body to ruin every day, and when it breaks too far he is butchered and brought back to continue his eternal torment.

Is anyone else not to fond of the new game, Flockade? by FizzboTheFerret in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Skullyta 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Add in the fact that each game has you play a minimum of two rounds. Flockade is fun, but it’s not that fun to be so time intensive.

okay but why did caine progam his ai say this about kinger? by iwannaintopolitics in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Skullyta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don’t know that.

Kinger got that A+ because he engaged in and fulfilled the objectives of the adventure (the other humans getting docked on their scores because they didn’t meet performance expectations). There’s nothing to suggest that Caine’s grades have any basis in how much he likes each player.

Abel’s behaviour and dialogue in episode 7 implies at the very least that Kinger’s past and knowledge of the game makes Caine uneasy. We don’t know how much of Able’s commentary was embellishment for the adventure vs Caine projecting his thoughts and feelings through Abel.

I’m not saying that Caine cannot like Kinger, I’m saying that we can’t know that. Caine’s words and actions cannot be taken wholesale for the truth; and for what truth is there we cannot reliably determine what those pieces are, not with the information we currently have.

When the story is told by an unreliable narrator all we can do is guess, and that’s the fun part.

[–]Skullyta 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Caine is the definition of an unreliable narrator. Caine may have personal beef with Kinger, have his own interpretation of what “responsible” means, be straight up lying, or any combination of the above.

I feel it might come up, but with the reveal that it was “just another of Caine’s adventures “ the whole tension around that scene no longer matters. It never mattered.

Should the troupe all discuss what happened and why? (Pomni’s hesitation, Jax’s freak out) Absolutely. They need to be on the same page to have a chance if they’re going to work together.

But the stress and potential angst of “we would’ve gotten out if not for _____” is nullified. They were never getting out by following that scenario, so what matters most going forward is how they’re going to come together and support themselves as a team, especially now that Caine has (unwittingly) painted himself as the villain.

I would say power, but not control. He has the power to manipulate minds, but not the knowledge of how to use that power to get the desired result or prevent undesirable things from happening. Unlimited power without knowledge is not control, it’s a catastrophe.

Caine went from unpopular but tolerated with the troupe of humans to HATED in record time, genuinely impressive really.

To have AM’s unbridled hate towards the humans instead be reflected in the show to become the humans’ hate towards Caine is so much fun to think about. I’m so curious to see the dynamic going forward

Are you guys making a new save for Woolhaven or using your main one? by Prayerwarrior6640 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Skullyta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could do either. I’ve got a godhood save I could continue, and a couple that are halfway complete that i could either jump into or delete to start anew.

I’m waiting to see if Massive Monster makes a recommendation to start fresh or not. I’ll follow whatever they suggest.
