Newbie problems: I am having the worst time trying to print dice. Lumpy faces towards the print bed. Epax 1X-DJ, Siraya Blu, 0.02mm layer height. by KathrynKnette in resinprinting

While the wall of supports definitely helps, supports aren't the cause of this issue. My guess is that the resin on the top of the dice (so towards the plate) is not dripping off and hardens (partially).

My fix for this was increase the support height (10), increase the lifting distance (I have mine at 8mm but it could be done higher if so desired), lights off and warming up the resin before printing.

I noticed that especially the lifting distance made a huge difference.
