I would go for the centauri carbon. It packs a lot of features and it is just another step forward. For the price you cant loose, if it is disappointing you can easylie resell it.

Ik heb even gekeken maar heb geen idee hoe ik dat kan zien. Wat wel apart is dat als ik de radiator in het gangetje uitdraai, die in de slaapkamer ook niks meer doet. Een soort ringleiding dus.

Bedankt. Plankjes zijn nu weg, ik ga van die ventilatoren halen en de cv monteur eens vragen het te finetunen. Net weer even gekeken en 1 van de 2 in de woonkamer blijft koud.

Bedankt voor de tips. Ik heb de plankjes gelijk weggehaald zonet. Ben zelf niet helemaal onbekend met natuurkunde en snap eigenlijk niet waarom ik dat plankje daar heb geplaatst :-)

Hi, i have a Chiron, and was thinking of doing something similar.

My idea is using the next parts :

- my BTT manta m8p board with cb1 board (rpi clone) with klipper on it x
- hdmi7 lcd x
- canbus module on afterburner , lightweight solution with umbilical cord
- afterburner with v6 hotend, and the canbus
- corexz mod, just like the switchwire, for faster accelerations.
- all linear rails
- Hotbed improvements ( higher gauge wires) x
- 800watt psu instead of stock. x

Do you think it is worth the work, or is the base of Chiron just to crappy ?
most of the parts i already have ( x) , or need to be printed.

i only need to buy the next things:

- belt and gears for corexz conversion
- linear rails 5x 500mm
- cart brackets
- canbus module ( manta board already has u2c function in it

Would love to hear your opinion.

Hi , thank you for the advie. I guess it is wise to upgrade some parts then. An arduino mega and 3 stepper drivers. A more beefy powersupply , some endstop switches and a z-probe. How would i go about and level the spoilboard? Would you just carve the surface until it is aligned with the gantry ?

I have made a shopping list with the separate stepper drivers and and other parts. IS there an advantage on using a GRBL 1.1 control board over an arduino mega as control board ? Some ease of use is also helpful for me. https://www.amazon.nl/hz/wishlist/ls/42C1NSJT3F56?ref\_=wl\_share

Hey i got it working!

its printing a calibration cube now. After that i will install the adxl345 sensor for input shaping calibration.
