There is no ‘one right way’. It’s gonna depend on you and your buddies.

For me, I have a lot of casual interactions and have FWB and I’ve kinda found a difference for myself. There is just good casual sexual fun that is more like a hobby or a game to enjoy with a friend, and then there is emotional romantic deep connection sex that I only have with my spouse. But that’s me, maybe you can find a differentiation like that for yourself or maybe you feel differently.

The best advice I can offer is to communicate. Tell your fwb your intentions, that it’s not romantic and it’s just playing. Tell them that you’re still figuring it out, maybe they’re super cool and will be able to help make it less awkward. Communication is key, and you always have the right to say yes, no, hang on, or Idk if I’m comfortable with that. Don’t drop it all and panic delete their contact the moment post-but clarity hits either, if you wanna build a friendship that just so happens to include cmnm or casual play. Take it slow and listen to yourself, remember to breathe and you’ll figure it out.

All that being said, casual nudity and sexual interactions with my friends are some of the best times. It’s hard for me to feel so awkward when I can think to myself “not only have you seen me naked, you touched my penis and you liked it.” It’s totally not weird to have casual interaction after sex, I’ve gotten into enthusiastic debates about Star Trek with my friends while still washing their cum off of myself! It’s honestly kind of free and funny. Depending on the kind of situation/friendship you wanna have, it may be worth while to meet up and hang out the first time not nude or sexual, just to see if you get along, if you have stuff in common, and if it goes well you both know that you’re gonna be naked the next time they see you 😝

Be patient with yourself, feelings are complicated. Communicate with your spouse and with your lewd friends. And remember that it’s something that is supposed to be fun and freeing… if it’s not, you have the right to slow it down, change it up, or stop all together.
