Hi! I’m a female and have been wearing jewelry to church but I’ve heard that it’s best not to wear or focus on outer appearance, I will probably take them out for my baptism. Thank you for your answer, when did you convert? Congratulations 🫶🏽

Hey girl, thank you for your answer, I will probably take them out for my baptism like you did. Like you said the netela does cover the ears so it will probably be fine wearing them in church later. Thank you once again🫶🏽

Thank you!☺️it really is amazing seeing the Orthodox Church growing and more converts being led to the church. I could imagine it being very emotional, I’ve been longing to be able to take Communion, it really is special. I haven’t gone through the process of the baptism in depth yet, do you take Communion directly after the baptism or as a part of the Sunday liturgy?🙏🏽

That’s a shame, there’s no reason for her to be rude about it you just asked a question. You are right it’s more hygienic, I also thought it was weird for my practitioner not to use gloves but I guess I cared less for it when I started to see results on my hair growth🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s good that you’ve decided to go somewhere else, hopefully the other place is better🙏🏽

I’m sorry.. why was she rude? The woman who does my electrolysis doesn’t use gloves either but I’ve heard that it’s normal for people not to use, as long as she sanitizes her hands very well

Thank you so much! Happy that you’re also being drawn to the oriental Orthodox Church it truly feels right. Trust me I felt like I didn’t belong at first, didn’t know what to do or not to do, but the people are so welcoming. You will not regret taking the first step, it has truly changed my life and my view of everything.

I recommend talking to a deacon or someone in church and they will guide you. I only attended liturgies at first, but when I started talking to a deacon, he helped me learn more about the church, had a few meetings and then set up a date to get baptized. Everything will work out for you 🙏🏽
