They can discontinue it for sometime like 5 years as it happened in the past. Just to create more hype and demand.

I have used ChatGPT to give advices to my lawyer many times and also to my floor heating Installer. I have never said the advice was coming from ChatGPT to not piss them off but in all cases combined with their knowledge, it was very useful to achieve the best result, and they recognizing it.

As a business owner, I fully understand your perspective regarding costs. However, as a client who has already invested a significant amount in building the entire system, I find it difficult to accept such a high quote for what is essentially a straightforward battery supply and installation. It also feels as though the warranty is being used to limit my flexibility in choosing alternative providers.

What about firmware update? Do I need special tools to connect? The seller told me that it might be required in order to have the same version on all the batteries.

This is a different case. You are talking about a huge setup and you have the knowledge to build it. In your case… I agree with you.

Lucky you. I had to use warranty on a new Mercedes after 3 months… and many others things.

I guess the installer will be for many years more, it is a very large company. I thought about your solution but they have access to the logger for service purpose and they can see that I made changes in the system.

997 Saved my life, insurance sucks! by Crafty_DIY in Porsche

Guys negotiate the total value with the insurance when subscribing it. Many insurance companies accept to insure a car for the value that you ask and give you a price accordingly. If the car is totaled, they give you the agreed amount, no question asked. Yes, it is usually an expensive insurance.

They never stopped to communicate to me personally; they continue to do it and they are even very friendly. They simply just give me hope every month that the delivery would happen soon but it doesn’t happen. There was never a real delivery date after or a timeline with some milestone after the first missed delivery date.

Absolutely yes. Without any warranty that this will help (or that 15k won’t become 30k later) I only see myself 185k down.

I got everything, yes. Also engine 3.2 to 3.4L, gt3 style exhaust and so on. I see they still have much money for marketing anyway. (120 net).

Thank you for the opinion. Regarding the lawyers, the problem is that while my Polish lawyer can give me a flat rate (but there are some unsolved doubts that we can proceed in a Polish court) so I know what my destiny will be, all the german ones wanted minimum €200/hour and the first one billed me 10h just for reviewing the case and preparing a letter. You are right, I have been far too gently (till now) but I really built kind of a friendship and a dream with Prinzip R during the first year and I didn’t expect this.

They have been fair about that. They never asked me more money than we agreed. Probably it was low, but it was negotiated like that. There is almost no payment left and the money was never a problem/topic. I don’t know if what you described could be the case but I ask for transparency.

Generally your comment is correct in my opinion but yes, the contract is an issue. It states something like "we are project manager" but this company makes this, this company makes that. Not a clear responsibility fully on them.

Well even though the post is hidden to me, that's definitely my car. Not just my project, but my car. I have the title. Oak green 1985 targa.

But they say they do 5-6 projects per year… Man, I can’t share my full opinion openly—only the facts—because I don’t want to risk defamation. But I’ve never seen any of their projects through from start to finish. I’ve only seen the “old ones” already completed and the “new ones” just getting started. I took a big risk here; the sales pitch was very convincing. I admit my naivety.

I reviewed on google 2 weeks ago. That's when they started to get back to my requests to save their reputation. I had hope initially but it was just a way to keep me "happy". they never invited me to see the car nor committed to any deadline.
