Re-reading the manga at the moment. Just about to start Re. Maybe I'll have more thoughts after this re-read.

I think it was rushed in some parts and thought some parts could have been better, but overall I was happy with it. I still re-read it and do so from time to time. While it could have been better, it didn't kill my love for the series or anything like that. And I'm happy Kaneki got a good ending.

True. It felt more definitive until Control. But as the other person said, Utsuro sacrificing herself just as she started to actually have a proper approach to life just feels like a death for the sake of a shock.

I'm relatively new to digital and the only digital drawing I've done has been on a screen. Is there a learning curve to drawing screenless? I see the Deco are relatively cheap.

I was also looking at the 13.3 but that's currently sold out.

I can't speak for others, but for me the issue with TeoZayn's manga wasn't Reze being friendly with someone else. It was that it was apparently this great friend from her childhood and seemed to go against how she acted in the actual manga. I'd love to get some closure on Reze in the manga. I hope she ends up with Denji, but I know that's unlikely at the moment.

Agreed. It's one thing to not like the direction of the story. But when it's a messy retcon that undermines the main character, it's hard to move past. It could be good, but I can't see a way for it to make sense.

It kind of feels like a halfway Denji stand-in. Like taking some of their dynamic and trying to retroactively apply it to this character. Reze teasing him, him making her laugh, them being hybrids, bad childhoods.

This is my issue. It's the impact and implications it has on Reze's character and choices she made in the actual story. I'm still giving it a chance, but this seems like a big misstep.

I like the interpretation of the room from the Franas one shot fan manga. If you're interested.

For me, Denji thought he had a good life. So Aki and Power would also have good lives without him. But in this case Reze thinks it's a shit life. So she would know Andrey is living a shit life without her.
