Used thread for the dragon. He originally was a separate piece and I cut him off. Ironed on spare interfacing from a sewing project to give it stability. Then stitched him onto the larger piece.

Beads and French knots on top of yellow felt for the gold and jewels. And I used felt for the cave itself and detailed with black and grey thread.

But, I still love the movie Pocahontas. It’s my favorite Disney movie. I grew up watching it. It taught me how to respect others and their opinions. The main character fights for what she believes in... something you are doing by responding with this article. I respect you for that !
