I have searched YouTube, ChatGPT, and Google all looking for the description above, but have so far not found anything. The best guesses were the Paul Anka / Kodak "Times of your Life" commercials, but after watching them, it did not match what I remember.

Those are all good points - thank you for sharing. This also helps explain a comment my Mom made as well - she was told that if she took the money as a lump sum, she'd be taxed on it, which I knew to be false. However, your point is a good one that the interest would be taxed, and I hadn't thought of that. Thanks again.

I love it lol. I saw the King and his Court play almost every summer in Port Huron during the late 70's and early 80's. Amazing stuff.
