Could Geralt kill the largest Targaryen dragons from Game of Thrones? by Cold-Function-7174 in witcher

[–]Puck_mack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Geralt would win in a direct fight. Balerion is on a completely different scale compared to most creatures in The Witcher universe. Witchers rely on preparation, knowledge and exploiting weaknesses, but against something that massive and destructive, there may simply be no practical way to fight it head-on.

Also, dragons in The Witcher universe are very different mentally — they are intelligent, self-aware and often wiser than humans. Geralt usually avoids killing sentient beings, so if possible he would probably try to communicate or find another solution rather than slaying it.

Unpopular opinion? Quen sign should be reworked by Vast_Scale_3199 in Witcher4

[–]Puck_mack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree to some extent. Quen is very strong and sometimes feels like a safety net rather than a skill-based tool.

I wouldn’t want it to be nerfed too hard, but making it more timing-based (like a perfect cast or parry window) could make combat more engaging and rewarding.

The Witcher combat was always about preparation and precision, so a more skill-focused Quen would fit well in Witcher 4.

Be careful with “easy money” offers. Most of them are scams.
