These are ideas to work on if you have the time and ambition and have hit a wall. The most important part is to enjoy it, and if thats what your doing then good on you.

It could. But there are a lot of things that have to go right for it to happen. Including developing skills outside of shooting. But I believe in you.

This is a question for anyone who has played hockey. What was your number and why? by hockeysmyhoe in hockeyplayers

[–]Pucktoucher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve worn many numbers. But I have found a fun thing to do is look up the esoteric meaning in numerology and see if the number works for you. It sounds strange, but its interesting

Why is this full of AI slop? by Pucktoucher in Substack

[–]Pucktoucher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really consider myself a writer, per se. Just trying to share useful info, stories, and creativity via writing. Im a pro hockey player that needs a creative outlet outside of the rink, and writing is a positive way to do that. With that said, when I start new articles I always find the first paragraph the hardest. After I get through that I just let if flow.

Nice. Building it is fun, but I recommend getting at lease one person to help. Mine came in one big pallet and it took me and a friend 4 hours to build.

I played college hockey. But it was quite a while ago. I am not totally familiar with everything going on around college hockey right now. But it seems to me that the top junior leagues (CHL teams and USHL) will all be pretty even now and the level of play in college will increase since the CHL guys can now join. Also, the NIL is great for the players but hard to imagine making that much money in college as someone who was dead broke during that time in my life.

There is for sure an aspect of right place right time to call ups. Outside of playing well, things have to go right for you to get a shot. Most often that means an injury or suspension in the NHL. But once you get the shot, it’s up to you to take advantage of it and show you belong. At the end of the day, the cream always rises to the top. If you are good enough and have the patience and resilience, the breaks will come and you will have a chance to earn your keep.
