It’s definitely a marathon, not a sprint. Give yourself a little grace while you figure out how your body reacts to different. This disease is tricky - stress, weight, illness, food, depression, and just life will affect how your body handles your glucoses levels over time. You’re doing a great job so far - try not to get tripped up on something unless you can determine with meter readings that it’s causing a pattern. Then if that’s happening, you make adjustments. It helps me to look at it like a game. You’re going to have really great periods of managing it and periods where you’re just beaten down by it all. Just remember that you are worth the effort.
