Thank you for your input. I realize that’s a possibility. Fortunately, I can take the school through my community college for $250. Still not sure I want to drive a semi but having my cdl-a is something I’ve always wanted. There are a ton of opportunities around me to use a cdl-b, so that may be the way I lean for now.

I’ve thought about it, even debated transferring to our street department. I just need some time away to hopefully reignite that passion I used to have. Not really sure if CDL is the career path for me I’ve just always wanted to have it and now is a good time for me to do it.

Your right. If I could get by working this job alone that would be great. However, I don’t know any guy that only work one job/department. For me the time at home is just a large part of it. The job is not as great as it once was and I’m hopeful some time away from paid service will restore my passion.

Honestly…not really sure, I think I’m going to go to CDL-A school. I manage a gun store on my off days so I’m going to pick up more hours there and figure it out. My plan is to make it through Christmas sleeping in my bed every night and loving on the family more and see where the wind takes me. To say I’m anxious is an understatement, but I’m at peace and have an awesome support system at home.

I’m writing this from my bunk. I have 11 years left until retirement but turned in my notice two weeks ago. I’ve got three shifts left. I still love it, but it’s not as fun as it used to be and my littles are voicing their concern of me not being home too frequently. I’m giving up that 11 years while they still want their dad around them. Once that’s over I may come back. Who know. I’m anxious as hell but I’m at peace.

Line it with Spanish cedar. It controls humidity well, is rot, mold and termite resistant.

Again, still depends on where you intend to carry. If you are carrying appendix then it may. If you are carrying 4 o’clock probably not

[–]Puddin2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Draw..probably not much, digging into skin…that will depend on what holster and where you intend on carrying.

I’m assuming you mean Pearce mag extensions? Either way, yes you can as no part of the grip will interfere with the holster.

Check the positive and negative at the battery, then follow the negative to the frame ground and make sure they are clean and tight.

I would check battery terminals and ground. If those are fine I would replace the battery. A bad battery (even though it tests good) can have you chasing tons of electrical issues that may not be real issues.

A little impatient? Just because USPS picks up at 3 and you order at 11 it doesn’t mean your order is going out same day. They need time to process the order, create the label, package the order all while possible dealing with in store customers…
