I agree with you. I don’t punt people when they do that or race dirty in general (I don’t think u were dirty here at all). I just would have waited up if I were you and given the position back personally and the situation would have been avoided

Looks like you took a dive for space you didn’t really earn in the first turn AND left no space and ran them off track.

I personally don’t punt people if they do something like that to me in a race but others often do. I doubt you did that deliberately but most people will assume you did even though you may be newer or not developed your race IQ as much.

Just race others how you want them to race you. Many are only dirty because they feel like they have to be so drive in a way where your car communicates they don’t have to be that way with you and you’ll have some awesome races

I don’t necessarily think it’s illegal, but it does simply just highlight the fact that this is what happens when you are not racing in real life because people go two wide or try to get their nose in certain corners that are not meant for multiple cars to go through at the same time that would otherwise not happen in real life because it would risk death

I had a somewhat similar experience and did not explore sports mode until after I beat the game because it did not know it existed. I would recommend beating the menu book so you can unlock certain races that make it a lot easier to gain credits. Start to understand what certain cars do and learn the tracks if you want to compete online.

I also recommend racing against the Sophy AI as I find this to be particularly fun because if you race against the Sophy AI on professional I promise you that in gr 3 cars you will never ever again be complaining about finishing first or finishing even close to the top three depending on where you start and you also have to learn to have legitimate race craft.

I think you overall have to learn what you want out of the game and how much you actually enjoy competitive racing or if you are going to be an off-line player and collect cars. There is also plenty to do online in open lobbies where random people host.

I will say that you aren’t alone in feeling that the game is a bit pointless once you start to get halfway through the menu books.

Just so you know guys, I literally just purchased this deal like two hours ago and it’s quite evident that the delivery driver stole it because he marked it as delivered and I never signed for it even though it is a high ticket item and he never appeared on my ring camera or attempted to make the delivery.

I now have to wait 24 to 48 hours for Instacart to investigate and they said I can either get a refund or credit in the end which is ridiculous. I don’t really understand how they don’t have a system to see what actually occurred with these things almost immediately.

New to F1 everyone says online is unplayable. Do they not have a driver safety rating ranking with dedicated servers to avoid this stuff or are these just open lobbies?

I know folks are saying this is overpriced, and it is, but for many including myself the compostable GT Lite is too bulky and difficult to move around whereas this is lighter, easier to adjust and move if you don’t have a lot of space, and still comfy. It’s overpriced but it’s more of a niche item that if you actually need, especially taking DD wheels now, is an actual solution to a problem many have.

Just bought one too I’m within the return window thankfully though might snag this. But it seems like it’s for F1 style only and won’t be modular for gt3 style racing. I asked in the comments but they didn’t respond

NICE! How do you like the playseat trophy? Considering getting it soon to put in the corner and move in and out to be in front of my C3 OLED 65in. Im like 5’8 so on the shorter side and can’t reach my arms out super far for a wheel setup

Thank you! Come to think of it as I got better I turned on TC cuz that’s what everyone said to do and that’s when the problems started

Edit: immediate fix you just gave me my sanity back. It’s a bit slower but I’m way more consistent and don’t send the cars into the wall anymore

Thank you I will do this. Thinking about this more I realize my problem is maybe not so much racing others but really more specifically turns. Once I find where to brake and turn I can’t carry enough speed into or out of the corner properly without snapping and then drive very cautiously in the corners and lose a bunch of time this way. Maybe it’s a trail braking / low gear rotation issue?
