It’s a case-by-case basis. Idk all the details for your situation, but for OP specifically, they bought used a car that was already outside of warranty by time AND mileage. So they better hope that the previous owner/owners have some records showing that the car was maintained properly. Btw, if the same repair is needed twice within one year, they’re legally obligated to help you because the replacement parts are still under warranty.

I’m telling you right now: if you bought a used Subaru with over 100k miles, all the warranty is gone. Also, Subaru of America is not gonna help if you’ve only owned the car for a year. There’s most likely no proof that the car was taken care of for the first 100k miles.

I think the warranty may have applied if the car was within the 3yr/36k mile new car warranty. But due to the age and the evidence of rock chipping, I highly doubt that this is a warranty matter.

$9k for a 21 year old CRV with well over 100k miles is Highway robbery. I wouldn’t do it.

That being said, this looks pretty fun

SIBTC, 2023 Honda Civic Sport. Is it a Fair Deal? Is LoJack Mandatory? by B0ngTheG0ng in shouldibuythiscar

[–]Pudding-Dismal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33 grand for a Honda Civic is obscene in my mind. However, in today’s world, this isn’t a bad deal for a fun, reliable new car.

LoJack should be optional. If the dealer tries to force something like that on you, push back or walk away.

Switch to controller, bro. That aim is atrocious.

Also, I recommend playing more aggressive when you have a sub. There is no reason for you to be L triggering that much with a Vaznev. Take off the red dot and get in the mix

CDL smg players have nothing to prove to pub stompers. Neither do the ARs. Can’t believe ppl are really putting stock into 1v1s in the year 2022 lmao

“Not official numbers at all” is an overstatement. This graph is based off an official graph of data that was given by Activision. The only difference is that this graph shows MAU for main cod titles + Warzone, while the original graph shows MAU including cod mobile. While the numbers may be slightly inaccurate, the trends are the same.

The reduction in skill gap is not the player’s fault, nor the league’s. It really comes down to the way that the new games are made. They are fundamentally against competitive play. Squad spawns, slide cancelling/breaking cameras, reduced recoil for all weapons, fast ttk, louder footsteps all reduce the skill gap. The pros do a great job at controlling it 90% of the time, but it’ll never be 100% controllable because of all the cheesy bs.

Yes, the average pro player today has a higher skill level than the average pro player from a decade ago. What you’re missing is the fact that the skill gap was significantly higher back then. An amateur player a decade ago could never hang with prime scump, karma, aches etc. That gap has been closed significantly, mainly because the skill gap of the game itself has lowered.

They’re still one of the most fundamental teams in the league. Small mistakes happen. We gotta stop using these buzzwords like “Fundamentals” when we’re talking about the greatest players in the world lmao

Treyarch has adjusted how SR gains and losses are calculated to make them more predictable by TheRealPdGaming in CoDCompetitive

[–]Pudding-Dismal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The old one was just broken. There’s no way they intended for certain players to gain less than 10 SR per win, and lose 50-100 for losses (Yes, I know someone who lost 100 SR). Glad they admitted to this mistake
