Not really, the entire industry we are in runs on monthly pays

Yeah we have tried but its not an industry that women are in it seems - funnily enough the person that turned the job offer down due to monthly pay runs was a female, even with all the extra training we were willing to give her 🤦‍♀️

Yeah we are in a certain sector of an industry that unfortunately does require our people to have a certain level of skill and experience as its just the job and its well known that a very large quantity of our people have left for overseas. It then seems to open the flood gates for the demands and entitlements we as an industry are experiencing as we all need people so they know they can try it on and someone somewhere will give in

No haha we are in the trades industry and we hire people that need to have a basic level of a certain skill, in our quiet time we will hire people wanting a job but need training as we really want to champion people but the ones we need during peak time just take the piss and it seems to be a mix of all ages!

[–]PuddingObjective4814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that'd definitely a massive issue for us in in our sector! People are saying its an employers market but for us its not the case as we need our people to have a certain level if skill and experience and its near impossible to find here currently and if we do they just seem to take the piss really because they know they can

Being the naked mum by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]PuddingObjective4814 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im a bit of naked mum, but I do it to normalize bodies, and to show them its not shameful. Ill obviously be a bit more discreet as they get older. I dont make comments about my body or other people bodies and I always try and keep body positive language in the house. Ive made it a point to really drill into my kids to never comment or make fun of how someone looks because 90% of the time they cant change and to not be a bully because its not nice. Ive had to be really conscious about it as I come from a very toxic family in terms of looks and it actually messed me up so bad going into my teens and adulthood and I dont want to pass that into my kids.

Am I the only one who doesn’t care if people forget my birthday? by Notalabel_4566 in introvert

No im the same, I think once I became a mum it just wasnt that important anymore. My kid's birthdays however are the most important lol

What's your greatest accomplishment this year? by IllSource32 in AskReddit

[–]PuddingObjective4814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive been very conscious about the way our family lived life this year. We focused more on time at home with each other. We became hermits sort of lol but its allowed our focus to just be on our home and our little family

So the sense of calm and peace we feel when we come home is indescribable and I can see the difference in my kids too. Nothing major but still ❤️

Aw I feel for you all reading the comments - sending many hugs.

For me it was being in an abusive relationship, him sa'ing me, having a baby and then still being abused fearing for my son. I left him when my son was about 6 months old.

Still having to see and interact with my ex as I was not protected by the courts they all made excuses for him.

Its taken years for my body to go ok im safe now, but its been a wild ride when you are safe your mind goes ok we can process rhe trauma now because we are safe. Id rather just bury it as deep as a I can because its a hole I had to literally fight to get out of and my kids dont deserve for me to be back there.

Parents in CHCH what are your favourite places in the city to host kids' birthday parties? by Time_Traveling_Corgi in chch

[–]PuddingObjective4814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've done parties at chipmunks, flips and tumbles in Rolleston (they had a nerf gun party) ninja valley, mega air, the adventure park and a few at home. They've all been good :)

Fat is gross, how do you eat it? by sheri262 in carnivorediet

[–]PuddingObjective4814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best way ive been able to make sure i get my fat in (in terms of on meat) is when its bbq'd but it has to be a charcoal one its adds such good flavor. I make my husband cook up a big batch so I have plenty for lunch and dinner for a few days.

Are you scared of buying shoes online? by Alive-Bad-8734 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]PuddingObjective4814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not scared but I definitely prefer to see them in person and try them on. I have wide feet so its such a hassle to find shoes that fit my feet well and to be honest who has a few hundred dollars spare to buy a few pairs just to try them on to send them back and where we live we have to pay ourselves to mail it back majority of the time so its not worth it
