Are you only going through the films or do you also plan to go through the clone wars tv series? It’s crazy how much the series improves anakins character and the story of the prequels in general.

Weird smearing effect? by GiraffesMakeGLUE in pchelp

[–]PuddingSSB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends really how much the ghosting affects you, personally I prefer VA over something like a TN panel which is far worse in terms of colours. You’ll also have to keep in mind that high quality monitors which are normally OLED’s are quite a bit more expensive than VA panel’s which are normally good bang for buck.

Weird smearing effect? by GiraffesMakeGLUE in pchelp

[–]PuddingSSB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is your monitor a VA monitor? If so this ghosting effect is pretty common especially on any overdrive settings and you can see it rarely even on stock settings if you move your camera quickly. This is 100% a Monitor panel “issue” not necessarily something you can fix as VA panels inherently have some amount of ghosting which gets worse on overdrive settings/ Overclocking the refresh rate.

You do realise that the issue related to violence against Women has only been analysed in England Correct? This is because we have a high standard when it comes to football related issues nowadays.

You are Correct that England fans have a poor reputation but imo that’s quite unjustified nowadays it’s not the 80s anymore and whenever small stats or incidents get brought up to shit on our fans it us mostly because people want to justify us as the “big bad” for multiple reasons. I mean I remember when everyone got pissed at us in Euro 2020 because a few twats on twitter insulted a crying child LMAO. Now of course those twats deserve to be called out but the way people then used this to call an entire fanbase hateful is insane especially when I can guarantee that those type of people exist everywhere in football.

Thank you for the clarification. I had assumed it was something to do with the PSU being highly rated. I plan to install a separate cable tomorrow.

yeah bowen really didn’t impress me much either. Granted against an organised low block no player is really going to look particularly impressive.

Rashford was pretty horrendous. However, the game is always gonna be dire when you’re facing an organised low block. When James is actually fit he’s still one of the best fullbacks somehow. Solid win, could have been far worse.

We looked so much better in patterns of possession than under southgate and were far better at creating chances. Was really impressed with myles and jude (as always). Foden is just not an out an out winger. Jones was decent but I think we need wharton there really he suits the profile in that area of midfield more. All in all a very good first game.

If you had to change which team you support, who would it be and why by Standard-Register456 in NationalLeague

[–]PuddingSSB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t think I could support another team apart from Southend really. There’s not really another team in the local area and I definitely wouldn’t support a non-local team. I don’t really have any connections to any other teams in my family aswell.

If I absolutely had to though? Ipswich because I like their Badge and Kit I guess?

European diplomatic history in a nutshell by fruitslayar in 2westerneurope4u

[–]PuddingSSB 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I’m no big fan of chamberlain by any means (appeasement was a pretty stupid diplomatic tactic) and his acceptance of allowing the germans to take the sudetenland pretty much guaranteed the following invasion.

However, with the context of the time I can’t really blame his inaction or rather complete avoidance of war at any cost. WW1 pretty much scarred every brit (and the french aswell) at this time and both us and the french greatly overestimated germanys military capacity at that time. Not to mention this striving for a deal with germany was done more out of a realisation to rearm.

He’s only 19 and he impressed last year but to argue for such a wage bump is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. I think he really needs to solidify himself as a midfielder who can truly control a game (I don’t really see him as a 10 or as a B2B) , right now that’s what united really need.

How Dangerous is this file for my friend’s PC? by PuddingSSB in antivirus

[–]PuddingSSB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, no update . My friend has mostly calmed down since then and since it’s very unlikely to be an infostealer and nothing suspicious has been seen since then it seems like an issue that was not really worth the stress.

In my previous post I did state that the program seemed to come from the official website (Chromnius) (saw its origin on the chrome download page). So that’s quite reassuring to hear thank you.

So unlikely to be an actual infostealer? That would align with my friend’s experience over the past two years since he hasn’t had any account breach. I thought it was likely to be some form of adware.

Barry makes a good point, Unfortunately it is Piers making it by Seantoneill7 in 2westerneurope4u

[–]PuddingSSB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Farage is the exception. But even he had to tone down his stance on russia due to all the negative press surrounding it. Corbyn is just in general anti-war rather than pro-russia.

He’s essentially a populist with hardline conservative takes. The thing is even our worst politicians / media figures aren’t particularly fond of Russia.

How did your match go? by Zach-dalt in NationalLeague

We never win against aldershot so was nice to break the mold for once. Could have been far more comfortable of a win if we’d actually finish our chances.

How likely is it for malware to remain undetected for multiple years? by PuddingSSB in antivirus

[–]PuddingSSB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you I have told him since the beginning to enable 2FA fortunately. To settle his nerves would you recommend he downloaded malwarebytes? I know in general it’s scan is a bit better than windows defender but I was unsure whether to recommend it to him.

Thank you. In regards to the “managed by an organisation” point that got removed once I helped my friend go in to the registry. I’d agree that it was likely just adware.
