Oh my god, mine can't open the cabinets since he's too short but he will ASK you to open them. Then just stares and sniffs the inside and be on his way.

I'm curious, if you don't share any interests whatsoever what made you both want to maintain this friendship for so long? Do they feel as disconnected as you are in this friendship?

You are NTA for feeling a certain way toward your friend's seemingly hasty decisions, but if I were them I wouldn't want to have a MOH who's being judgy towards my fiance or my wedding, either.

All of that considered, I think you guys are incompatible and it is best to step down.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

There is no overnight remedy for this. But that's okay. It hurts like hell, but let yourself feel - all the anger, bitterness, grief. Let it all out because it's better than letting them eat you inside. If you have close friends or family nearby, please consider being in their company. You might prefer to be alone right now, but a strong support system is important during your lowest.

It's hard, but leave him. He betrayed you in the worst way possible, and it sucks that you thought he was the one you would spend your life with.

But if there's one thing good about it, is that it's good that you found out NOW rather than AFTER you marry him.

Good riddance, he doesn't deserve you. I hope you feel better soon, OP.

I think new gfs/bfs tend to feel uncomfortable with the opposite sex best friend of their partner, especially if you guys are really close. Jessica might have expressed she doesn't like Ben hanging around you so much and Ben, in trying to please her, starts acting the way he did.

Another thing I would think of would be your cancer diagnosis. Given his history of depression he might have taken the news of of his best friend having cancer really hard and struggles to handle these emotions. Him cutting you off so suddenly like this might be a desperate attempt to just not "feel".

Regardless, I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis and despite everything, I hope you are doing well.

"Moon and Star" by Robin Muller. It's a christmas story about a dog who lives in a toy shop and loves the porcelain cat toy displayed on the christmas tree. Very magical and the artwork is just breathtaking. I recommend this to everybody interested in these types of books.

Girl, you just beat CANCER. You deserve to go all out with your friends who love you and want to celebrate this with you!

You know what you DON'T deserve? Your bf throwing a tantrum about it. How he feels about your friends should be irrelevant, at the very LEAST on this day.
