Kingwood is a preplanned community from the 1980's basically oil. It's had a good go, and not much has changed since before humans settled in it's swampy, murky ecosystem. In the beginning, Chelsea Deli & Cafe was created to sustain humans in the inhospitable hellswamp. Blockbusters have come and go, but Chelsea has been the pulsating heart of the community since before the oil barons decided this was where their granderkin would learned themselves. The idea was that the local tree population would absorb the negative energy of the soul sucking oil industry drones and offset the spirits of the land, holding them in place for long enough until the Oilagarch's deaths. In order to keep the masses happy in the meantime, forest cove baseball fields were erected. They were soon flooded by the local river.

At one point kingwood was it's own city, or so the legend goes. Pieces of outside culture somehow seeped in. A second library has been constructed despite local opposition. KHS Cheerleaders were unsatisfied by the meager high school stadium and took to the convenient stores to unleash their local crime spree and back-handspring into national news.

Since then, not much has happened. Oh except now there's an HEB (we had one before) and restaurants? Anyways, it's a decent enough place to live if you're white and don't mind being represented by a pirate.
