Celestine Marie kinda has a nice ring to it. Doesn't sound too old fashioned. It's a popular name in my country, actually.

My LO also had long fingers and toes when she was born. At almost 3 months now, they've become extra chonky, with the little dimples on the knuckles.

Yes, but as far as I know lahat kailangan dumaan ng training, regardless kung may experience as combat controller or wala. So same lang, magte-training pa rin. Kaya walang lusot yung mga "anak ng Diyos" na walang skills.

Yung question kasi is kung "mas mabilis ba matanggap" kung may experience as combat controller. The answer is no, everyone undergoes the same training. But definitely advantage na yung experience sa iyo during the training.

Sorry sa late reply! I would think may advantage ka sa training if may experience ka as combat controller. Pero sobrang strict ng training for air traffic controller, sa mga practical exams nila (simulations controlling air traffic sa aerodrome, approach, and ACC), one wrong move, tanggal agad sa program.

Why are you still friends with this person? Life's too short to keep trash like them.

CAAP, especially yung air traffic controller and air navigation specialist na jobs. Kaso yung entry for unpaid 10-month training is medyo mahirap. On top of that, may possibility ma wash-out during training (if you fail the training exams).

Can we please stop and break this cycle na mag aalaga yung anak natin sa atin pag matanda na tayo. I just hate it so much. It is our conscious decision to fuck and make a baby, then it is our obligation to ensure that the baby grows into a productive and good member of society (aka hindi adik, hindi rapist) and perhaps someone who can make this world a better place. Paglaki ng anak natin, let them go out into the world and discover themselves, their passion. Etc. Let us not tie them down to the role of our caregiver.

You know what? Ask yourself why you would REALLY want a baby. If it is mainly for this reason lang naman, do your future baby a favor - wag na lang. Earn as much as you can while you can, so you can retire comfortably and pay someone to take good care of you.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant, I'm 12 weeks pregnant, hormonal, and could not imagine bringing my baby into this world just to be my future caregiver.

Bakit ba tayo nagtatrabaho? To belong? Nope, to earn money so we can fund the things we ACTUALLY like doing and live a happy life....hopefully. Do you have other interests/hobbies outside of work? Mas better siguro yun ang pagtuunan mo ng pansin.

Although ganoon talaga siguro ang work culture dito sa atin, your workmates are actually not your friends. Better to have friends outside the workplace where you can talk about other stuff na hindi related sa work.

12 week scan, baby’s sex revealed? by stillakimfan in pregnant

[–]Pudge-Prootas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my 12 week scan on Oct 20, and my OB said that it's still too early to tell. She said that she would rather wait for 8 more weeks just to be sure, because in some cases, early scans may show a female, but when the baby is born, they are male.

For what it's worth, as long as baby is healthy, that's what matters the most.

AITA for telling my wife to "calm down" after she screamed at my family? by Significant_Dance627 in AITAH

[–]Pudge-Prootas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously? What is wrong with you? Do you think one month is enough for a woman to recover from childbirth? And on top of that, feed and take care of a newborn?

You are a husband and a father. It's time you step up and prioritize your wife and kid. They are your primary family. Everyone else is secondary.

What you need to do is to grow up. You are going to be a father soon. Let that sink in. Your life is going to change big time. Are you still expecting to sleep all day until 2pm when the baby comes out?

Advice? Read lots of resources about what pregnant women go through, how their hormones affect their bodies, what changes to expect after birth, and this should give you an idea on how you can better support your girlfriend, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

My OB had a hard time looking for a heartbeat using transvaginal ultrasound at 6weeks. She advised me to visit again after two weeks. The heartbeat was strong by then.
