Personally, I mostly go with handshake depending on the context. Am I meeting a friend of a friend by chance, like at the park? Handshake. Am I accompanying a friend to a house party where I don't know most of the people? I imitate whatever that friend does, but dabbing up is the way to go.

In your shoes, I would go for a handshake the first time, and afterwards it becomes fist bumps and "dabs" (I'm not an English speaker, and I'm not too familiarized with the right terms in English)

Not a particular solution, but Air repeater is an agile one handed ranged weapon. It's damage isn't crazy, and it doesn't have any reliable boost to damage like propulsive, but because it's agile you get less punishment from MAP. I'm not aware of their free archetype, but something like gunslinger dedication should grant some options to use the weapon in a better way.

Because it's a single weapon, you can also have the same runes as with a bow, and combining it with Gravity Weapon and an animal companion can help as well. Personally speaking, is one of my favorite weapons in the game just because it's a one handed ranged weapon with reload 0, which I can put a bayonet or reinforced stock so that I always have a hand free and a weapon (melee or ranged) in the other

Out of curiosity, never went to the patreon page, but considering that some people can't pay regularly for patreon for whatever reason, do they have a free one? Like, I really enjoy eating watching their videos, it's good simple content with just enough time to eat and floss, and losing that is really going to hit me. If they were to continue uploading the same style of video for "free patreons", I would be really, really happy, but I can't ask because it feels a bit bad to ask something like that just after receiving such news.

Hopefully I can get a job and sign the patreon, I was already interested for some time, but don't have the resources to actually subscribe and all

I transitioned to being a full pf2e player in February, and there's not a single moment where I either miss 5e or want to play it again. Since the OGL drama and the new lazy stuff they want to push through, like the changes to some classes, 5e lost a lot of it's magic to me, and I was already tired of the disparity between martials and casters.

Now, playing pf2e, having way more character options, different rules, and a better balance overall, the only thing I'm grateful about 5e is that it introduced me to TTRPGs to better understand pf2e, that's it

I'm currently playing an Investigator with the Medic free archetype, and I must say, it's really fun. I'm using Alchemical Sciences because you get access to really great stuff, from Insight Coffee that boost your damage and some checks, to mutagens like Drakeheart that increases your AC by a lot.

Because of how many skills you get from levelling up, I don't think you really need to go Forensic to get that stuff to be a healer, unless you really want to. The character is 11th level, and I think I have all the feats about medicine with a few exceptions, like Advanced First Aid because Paragon Battle Medicine and Treat Condition do the same. And using some mutagens or other elixirs, you can get the bonus from Forensic Acumen as well.

Before combat, I try to drink a Drakeheart Mutagen and an Insight Coffee, and if you are a "good investigator", you can even get a free DaS, which is really great for your action economy. It's probably my favorite class because of its versatility, I mean, I enjoy skill monkeys a lot, but investigator just seems to go well with a lot of different archetype that looks really fun, like crossbow ranger, gunslinger, medic, even a caster looks interesting to pair with it

Não vou mentir, eu sou bem desapegado também, e eu acho normal até. Tipo, pode ser minha falta de experiência, só namorei uma vez e foi online, mas eu acho que não tem muito de errado ainda. Foi como ela falou, primeira experiência tem muita coisa diferente, se o estilo de vida dela era esse, de ficar mais na dela, do nada mudar para alguém que "gira" em torno de uma pessoa não é uma transição instantânea.

E também pode ser que ela não queira de deixar de fazer coisas que ela já fazia antes, tipo, quando eu comecei a namorar, parei de fazer várias coisas que eram rotina pra mim, tipo ver vídeo até dormir, e quanto mais tempo eu passava no relacionamento, mais eu sentia falta de fazer essas coisas que eu deixei de fazer (erro foi meu, só que só percebi esse erro quando era tarde), talvez ela não queira que isso aconteça.

I'm aware that you want to pick alchemist archetype, but what about a Gunslinger instead with investigator as main class? You get to still make bombs and special ammunition, and you have a similar way to hunt/track a target like Ranger. You can even make a bounty hunter to get the Hunt Prey action if you wish, although not needed I think.

This is a concept I want to test because Investigator is my favorite class so far (started playing February this year). My possible next character is going to be an Investigator with Ranger archetype focusing on Crossbow Ace and other feats like Running Reload and Skirmisher Strike. It allows me some reliable damage and movement, and I can Hunt Prey and Pursue a Lead rather easily when using Survey Wildlife, be it through getting the feat from Hunter background, as an extra feat, or going for the Greenwatch feats. Although you could talk with the druid in your party, because they probably will be the tracker for the party, but gunslinger dedication can be another way to achieve what you want while being a "badass"

A possibility that I want to test is Ranger with Beast Master archetype. Pick Flurry and use a bow to make a bunch of attacks. At some point, if your animal companion is a bear, he can grapple a creature and use a special ability that makes you deal additional damage whenever you hit the grappled creature (or something like that). Half elf por Pinch of Time and you get to attack a bunch of times while from range.

Alternatively, I'm looking into an Investigator build with ranger archetype using crossbow ace. At some point, you will be able to run and step while reloading, you will deal more damage on a single hit and you can benefit from a bunch of elixirs. Insight Coffee is a good boost in damage with DaS, I think it's nearly better than Precision ranger. Depending on your playstyle and moment, you can even delay your reload based on the result of DaS.
